  • Perfect rental in a perfect location!

"This property was perfect for our Thanksgiving in Islamorada! Our party ranged in age from 24 - 90 and all of us had a great time! The house is comfortable and very well appointed. Everything is in top condition and very nicely decorated with keys decor. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the little things (like spices and such) that you don't want to have to buy, but you want to have if you like to cook! Updated appliances, comfy beds, marvelous showers and plenty of room for all of us! Although we stayed on a holiday week, we barely heard anybody around us! The neighbors we did see were friendly and smiling. We fished (and caught fish!) from the dock with the poles here, took out the kayak and paddleboard, and rode around on the bikes -- which are incredibly comfy and stable. The kids even saw a manatee! The beach is a short bike/kayak ride away -- even has a place to park for when I took my 90-year old father-in-law over. It was a little cold while we were here, but we still managed to get some beach time in! So much to do a week is hardly enough time! It's just a short drive to all of the popular attractions -- we took day trips to Key West, the everglades, and a charter fishing trip out of Bud n Mary's (5 minutes away). If you have a boat, you can dock it right in front of the house -- next time, maybe we'll rent one! If fishing is your thing -- Islamorada is the place! I'd surely recommend staying at the Villa Marlin! We felt it was a great place at a great value and the owner was very friendly and accommodating!"

  • Fun time in The Keys

"This condo is exactly what it is advertized. The views from the balcony are fantastic. There's even a little door in the screening that you can open to get photos without the screen. If you can get up for sunrise - do it! We rented bikes and were able to ride on old route 1 and stay safe from traffic. Rode most days 6-10 miles. We drove to Key West one day (about 2 hours) and spent the day. Founders Beach a mile or so down the road and Sombrero Beach on Marathon Key were great beaches. We also went to the beach at Long Key. Sight-seeing and fishing excursions out of Key Largo were close. We rented kayaks one day right in Tavenier and explored the mangrove swamps along Tavenier Creek. Favorite restaurants: Marker 88 (best food), Ma's Fish Camp (best key Lime pie), Old Tavenier, Made2Order, Morada and Jersey Boardwalk Pizza. We ate most breakfasts and lunches in. Ken was very attentive to all my questions and very easy to work with. A wonderful 2 weeks in the sun."

  • Nascar week

"We booked this condo instead of a hotel room ,it was way more than we expected. The condo was more than we expected and the owners so easy to work with. We found everything that was needed in the condo, the complex was great with a fantastic pool.Everything was so clean and comfortable. We have already decided to see if it's available for next year."

  • In a word...Fabulous!

"It was the best vacation we've had in The Keys in a long time. From the moment we arrived, it was perfect. The location idyllic. It sits on a lazy street, in a sleepy little neighborhood. It is great for relaxing yet close to all the places we've become accustomed to frequenting. From the moment we entered the property we knew it was going to be amazing. The property is beautifully landscaped. When sitting on the pool deck, you are surrounded by lush vegetation which while beautiful, also provided a degree of privacy from the surrounding homes. We spent hours in the pool with the kids. We had kayaks and a paddleboard delivered from the Kayak Shack which we used to explore the canal and along the break wall. This became a daily ritual for the kids. Sitting on the upper deck at night, listening to the wind rustle the leaves, or just star gazing was a lovely, tranquil way to finish off the day. The pool area by night, stunning. The house is exactly as pictured. The layout is open with a nice flow. Although spacious, you never feel too far away from the rest of your party. It is beautifully furnished, very clean, well maintained. The appliances top of the line. The color palette is reminiscent of the sea and quite soothing. Doug, our host has provided suggestions for where to eat, places to go. We had pizza from Chad's. I'm not a fan of pizza, but this was really good. We also tried the key lime cake from The Trading Post. It too was an excellent recommendation. The Hungry Tarpon at Robbie's Marina was another great spot to catch a bite and feed the tarpon(they were really hungry). Our hosts have thought of everything you might need from beach toys, stacks of reading material, puzzles and bikes which the kids put to good use. The downstairs room with the entertainment center and ping pong table was where we'd begin to wind down each evening with family movie night. I can't say enough about our host, Doug. From our first inquiry to the end of our stay, and after, he was wonderful. He answered all our questions. He encouraged us to call if there were any problems(there were none), because he genuinely wanted us to have a lovely vacation. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and because of this, we did. My niece who traveled with us, upon returning home, told her mom what a dream vacation she had had, and how now she was back to her old boring life. I'd have to agree with her. It was a dream vacation. We will definitely be back!"
