  • Family Vacation

"We spent a long awaited week in this house with our children and grandchildren ( 6 adults and 3 children, ages 2,6, and 9). It is a beautiful, well stocked house with a private sandy beach. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling right off the beach. Being in the middle keys it was easy to explore all the keys north and south of the house. Key West was interesting but much too crowded for us. Islamorada is laid back with many good restaurants and shops. The owners are very accommodating and easy to work with. We couldn't have asked for anything more and would like to go back someday. Good memories!!"

  • Excellent place to stay

"Our family stayed here for our son's graduation present. We came for the fishing! We had a great time. Jeanette was such a pleasure to work with. I will definitely call her again for any return trips to the keys. The condo was very well stocked. She had everything we needed. She gave us lots of helpful information, and was available anytime I called. Beautiful pool, just not a lot of beach area. We went out deep sea fishing with Frank Drudi. Great charter boat captain! Caught lots of Mahi Mahi."

  • relaxing getaway

"The condo was clean and beautifully appointed, the kitchen and master bedroom were great, loved the decks, and roof top, owner was responsive to calls,i would recommend this property to friends/easy access to all activities and many restaurants, the spiral staircase was a little challenging for someone over 65, also to access water, watershoes recommended as no beach just rocks, also we did not attempt kayak because of access to water,"

  • COMPLETELY CHARMED!!!

"We arrived home last night after staying a week in the Conch House. When I viewed this listing and the pictures on VRBO, I was so intrigued but I worried that it was too good to be true. Well it was everything (and much more) than we could have hoped for! When we arrived we received a very warm welcome from Lori and a complete tour of the property. IMMACULATE!!! Everything is SO well kept and clean! The Conch House is lovely and the view, breathtaking! We loved the sophisticated but charming decor. During our stay, Bobby (Lori's husband) was extremely responsive to our needs. At one point, a fishing pole broke. He was back with a replacement in minutes. Propane was getting low in the grill, immediately changed it. The shared property was not an issue for us at all because everybody who stayed there was very respectful of each other. And there is enough room for everybody to move around and still have a lot of privacy. We enjoyed the dock and my 16 year old son fished constantly. We also kayaked everyday and enjoyed going to a nearby restaurant within walking distance, Mile Marker 88. Had two awesome dinners there and my husband and I kayaked over and had drinks a couple times. My 13 year old daughter and I walked a mile up the road to Founder's Park and worked out everyday on the soccer fields and track. Awesome! We took the snorkeling tour at John Pennekamp State Park. Highly recommend!!! A great way to get out on the bigger water. Loved feeding the tarpon at Robbies. But our very favorite thing to do here was to grill out in the AMAZING outdoor kitchen overlooking the Bay and watch the spectacular sunsets. Then the firepit for some more relaxation and of course, smores! The whole experience was perfect in every way and this was one of the most unforgettable vacations our family has every taken. So very relaxing!!!"

Islamorada Area Travel Tips

Islamorada House Rentals are the Ultimate Way to Experience the Florida Keys

For lovers of water activities, the Florida Keys can't be beaten as a vacation spot. The Islamorada area in the lower Keys has some of the best sport fishing in the world, as well as snorkeling, scuba diving, boating and parasailing, all in an environment that averages 75-80 degrees year-round.

The best way to experience the Florida Keys are through Islamorada house rentals. Sure, you could stay in a hotel room, but why do that when you could enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast on the front porch of your private beachfront home? And after an exhilarating but tiring day on the water, you can come "home" to grill your catch and relax in peace and comfort. With Islamorada vacation rentals you CAN have it all!

Incredible Beaches

From your Islamorada beach rentals home venture out to explore the plethora of great beaches; the beach at Plantation Yacht Harbor boasts a nice and deep swimming area. There's great snorkeling at Islamorada County Park, where the beach runs along a natural creek. But watch out for the strong currents here, especially if you're traveling with children. For a cozy beach with a boardwalk, go to Anne's Beach on Lower Matecumbe Key. There are plenty more. Just ask any local to point you in the direction of a great beach.

Enjoy a Night on the Town

Many local restaurants will cook your catch; just because you're staying in Islamorada house rentals, it doesn't mean you have to cook. You're on vacation. Use your Islamorada beach rentals property for the convenience it brings to brew a cup of morning coffee or do a load of laundry without searching for a laundromat, then get the best of both worlds by dining out and partaking of the area's rich nightlife.
