  • Excellent Keys Accomodation

"My son and I just stayed in Carla's place for the second year running during our annual scuba diving getaway. We love the comfort and convenience of this condo as our home base while enjoying our time in the Keys. We plan to stay here again next summer. Great place!"

  • Very boat friendly, Super comfortable layout...

"We rented this property for three couples, and two boats. As compared to other properties we've rented in the Islamorada area, this one stood out for us as a group. fenced trailer parking was a great bonus, as well there was plenty of off-street parking for all three of our vehicles. The layout of the house is perfect with a large open living area with a huge sliding glass door viewing the canal. The living area separated the large kitchen with a beautiful dining room. The kitchen was very well appointed and contained everything our group needed to cook including the luxury of a large refrigerator. Even though our early plans called for a couple dinners out, we ended up staying in and cooked every dinner.. All the bedrooms were large enough for couples, the bathrooms were all upgraded and the linens and towels seemed fairly new. If there was one comment we made early on in the week, was the sound of the dual air conditioners running at night; however after a couple nights everyone got use to it and commented on how great they were sleeping.... It's also important to note that this property is far enough away from US1 that you didn't even hear it like other properties we've rented in the area. Also, we were super glad to see that the neighbors were very friendly to us, and the neighborhood felt very safe. At the end of the week, we all commented on what a great property this was for boating and really allowed us all to relax the whole time we were there."

  • Great location for fishing and snorkeling!

"We love this house! For the last several years, we trailer down our 26' center console from Michigan to fish fish fish! This wonderful house is only a few minute ride to the ocean and only 5 miles to the reef for the best fishing in the Keys. If you're not fishing, the house is on a beautiful very wide canal with lots of boats and yachts to enjoy as they travel out each day. You can see the main channel leading out to the ocean as well from the deck while outside BBQing. The house is clean and spacious... and safe for our grandkids to run around. Of course they love the heated pool! The neighborhood is one of the best in the entire Florida Keys and is a great place to ride bicycles. We ride 10 miles + each morning, all on nice safe bike paths throughout Islamorada. Lots of cute boutiques for the gals along the bike paths too... you can easily spend several days just visiting shops along the bike path. (there are rental bike places locally if you cannot bring your own) We've stayed throughout the Keys over the last 20 years, but love Islamorada the most for its fishing... and, on those windy days, there are many many great restaurants & bars on the waterfront to enjoy. Within walking distance of the house are 3 restaurants on the water....and several more just a few miles away. Some areas in the Keys are very remote. We like this rental home location also because there is a major grocery store just a few miles away. The house is great to have your family or friends to visit... lots of bathrooms... a big plus. The kitchen is well stocked with most everything you would need to feel like you are at home. The house is well maintained and very attractive and we would certainly recommend it to others. Kid Fun within a couple miles.... Theater of the Sea ... Dolphin shows (like a mini Sea World) and Founders Park - Park with beach good for small children, playground, tennis courts Adult fun within a couple miles.... Wahoo's Bar, Hog Heaven, Holiday Isle, Island Grill, Smugglers Cove, Bass Pro Shop and too many more to list!"

Islamorada Area Travel Tips

Islamorada House Rentals are the Ultimate Way to Experience the Florida Keys

For lovers of water activities, the Florida Keys can't be beaten as a vacation spot. The Islamorada area in the lower Keys has some of the best sport fishing in the world, as well as snorkeling, scuba diving, boating and parasailing, all in an environment that averages 75-80 degrees year-round.

The best way to experience the Florida Keys are through Islamorada house rentals. Sure, you could stay in a hotel room, but why do that when you could enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast on the front porch of your private beachfront home? And after an exhilarating but tiring day on the water, you can come "home" to grill your catch and relax in peace and comfort. With Islamorada vacation rentals you CAN have it all!

Incredible Beaches

From your Islamorada beach rentals home venture out to explore the plethora of great beaches; the beach at Plantation Yacht Harbor boasts a nice and deep swimming area. There's great snorkeling at Islamorada County Park, where the beach runs along a natural creek. But watch out for the strong currents here, especially if you're traveling with children. For a cozy beach with a boardwalk, go to Anne's Beach on Lower Matecumbe Key. There are plenty more. Just ask any local to point you in the direction of a great beach.

Enjoy a Night on the Town

Many local restaurants will cook your catch; just because you're staying in Islamorada house rentals, it doesn't mean you have to cook. You're on vacation. Use your Islamorada beach rentals property for the convenience it brings to brew a cup of morning coffee or do a load of laundry without searching for a laundromat, then get the best of both worlds by dining out and partaking of the area's rich nightlife.
