"We went with 2 other families to this wonderful vacation home. It was amazing. The house easily slept all 14 of us and they had plenty of household items available (dishes, sheets, towels, etc.) The homeowner was super nice and very easy to work with. The location of the house was perfect for having dinner in town or for going to the local marina for some snorkeling, fishing, or parasailing. We even made a day trip out to Key West. We are hoping to get back to this house sometime in the future!"Guest: Jill K. Date of Stay: March 2012 Review Submitted: April 10, 2012View listing
"We have just returned from a month at this rental. It suited our purposes to a T. Let us give you some personal observations. The place was spotless and easy to keep clean. The beds and living room furniture were comfortable. The interior decorations, tasteful and suited to the area. The outdoor parts of the property included fine gardens, an excellent dock where are boat owner friends picked us up with ease as did a guide. We spent much time sitting in the back yard along the water reading and watching nature. Our two Corgis loved the large fenced in yard plus the neighborhood walks. The kitchen has been extremely well equipped by a good cook because the pots and pans were seasoned, all necessary equipment was at hand to prepare all meals at home for guests as well as family. There were some bonuses of sporting equipment as well."Guest: Carl and Jane Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 27, 2014View listing
"We stayed a week in Feb., not long enough. The condo is beautifully decorated, well equiped and perfectly located. The beach and dock area is peaceful as is the small complex. It is a fun daytrip to Key West or the Everglades and there are plenty of nearby great resturants, shopping and activities. Try Kayaking thru the mangroves and having your catch of the day cooked by the wonderful chef at the Hungry Tarpon. Lovely!"Guest: anita h. "We have teenagers and young children and this house was just perfect for us! The bikes were a special treat, only a 2 mile cycle to Robbie's Marina in one direction and 2 miles the other way to Anne's beach. Bikes for the whole family. The cinema was fantastic in the evenings, enough 'lazy boy' recliners for all of us and so many films to choose from. The kids swam in the pool everyday whilst my husband and I sunbathed with the most spectacular view of the ocean! It was a very special holiday and we would love to go again. The lady who looks after the house was wonderful too. Can't thank her enough. 5 Stars!"Guest: 3541rachel Date of Stay: December 2012 Review Submitted: January 16, 2013View listing
Islamorada Area Travel Tips
Islamorada House Rentals are the Ultimate Way to Experience the Florida Keys
For lovers of water activities, the Florida Keys can't be beaten as a vacation spot. The Islamorada area in the lower Keys has some of the best sport fishing in the world, as well as snorkeling, scuba diving, boating and parasailing, all in an environment that averages 75-80 degrees year-round.
The best way to experience the Florida Keys are through Islamorada house rentals. Sure, you could stay in a hotel room, but why do that when you could enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast on the front porch of your private beachfront home? And after an exhilarating but tiring day on the water, you can come "home" to grill your catch and relax in peace and comfort. With Islamorada vacation rentals you CAN have it all!
From your Islamorada beach rentals home venture out to explore the plethora of great beaches; the beach at Plantation Yacht Harbor boasts a nice and deep swimming area. There's great snorkeling at Islamorada County Park, where the beach runs along a natural creek. But watch out for the strong currents here, especially if you're traveling with children. For a cozy beach with a boardwalk, go to Anne's Beach on Lower Matecumbe Key. There are plenty more. Just ask any local to point you in the direction of a great beach.
Enjoy a Night on the Town
Many local restaurants will cook your catch; just because you're staying in Islamorada house rentals, it doesn't mean you have to cook. You're on vacation. Use your Islamorada beach rentals property for the convenience it brings to brew a cup of morning coffee or do a load of laundry without searching for a laundromat, then get the best of both worlds by dining out and partaking of the area's rich nightlife.
