"It was the best vacation we've had in The Keys in a long time. From the moment we arrived, it was perfect. The location idyllic. It sits on a lazy street, in a sleepy little neighborhood. It is great for relaxing yet close to all the places we've become accustomed to frequenting. From the moment we entered the property we knew it was going to be amazing. The property is beautifully landscaped. When sitting on the pool deck, you are surrounded by lush vegetation which while beautiful, also provided a degree of privacy from the surrounding homes. We spent hours in the pool with the kids. We had kayaks and a paddleboard delivered from the Kayak Shack which we used to explore the canal and along the break wall. This became a daily ritual for the kids. Sitting on the upper deck at night, listening to the wind rustle the leaves, or just star gazing was a lovely, tranquil way to finish off the day. The pool area by night, stunning. The house is exactly as pictured. The layout is open with a nice flow. Although spacious, you never feel too far away from the rest of your party. It is beautifully furnished, very clean, well maintained. The appliances top of the line. The color palette is reminiscent of the sea and quite soothing. Doug, our host has provided suggestions for where to eat, places to go. We had pizza from Chad's. I'm not a fan of pizza, but this was really good. We also tried the key lime cake from The Trading Post. It too was an excellent recommendation. The Hungry Tarpon at Robbie's Marina was another great spot to catch a bite and feed the tarpon(they were really hungry). Our hosts have thought of everything you might need from beach toys, stacks of reading material, puzzles and bikes which the kids put to good use. The downstairs room with the entertainment center and ping pong table was where we'd begin to wind down each evening with family movie night. I can't say enough about our host, Doug. From our first inquiry to the end of our stay, and after, he was wonderful. He answered all our questions. He encouraged us to call if there were any problems(there were none), because he genuinely wanted us to have a lovely vacation. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and because of this, we did. My niece who traveled with us, upon returning home, told her mom what a dream vacation she had had, and how now she was back to her old boring life. I'd have to agree with her. It was a dream vacation. We will definitely be back!"Guest: Barbara R. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: June 3, 2014View listing
"We stayed in this house for two weeks. There was plenty of room, and most everything that is needed was provided with the exception of food. The house was very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The house is located on a canal and just minutes to the gulf by boat! The private beach is gorgeous and takes about 10 minutes to walk and about a minute to drive to it. There is great fishing. The owner was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again."Guest: rro1962 Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 29, 2014View listing
"We rented this beautiful unit for a week and were very impressed with how clean and well maintained it is. The condo has everything you need and is very comfortable. The pool is large and not at all busy. The sunsets from the private beach were very pretty. islamorada is very central for visiting the Keys, so this is a very good location for a base. We would recommend this condo, but you will need a car in this area."Guest: Sue E. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 19, 2014View listing
"This home was more than what we expected. Just driving into the gate was amazing. The yard is beautifully landscaped and very tropical with serval sitting areas and plenty of coconuts. We fished and snorkled from the dock and enjoyed the wildlife including manatees, iguanas, nurse sharks and parrot fish. The home more than met our needs with plenty of space in every room and a beautiful kitchen with all the necessary appliances and dishes. The home was clean and pet friendly. Our dogs enjoyed vacation as much as we did. Each bedroom room has a sliding glass door with a view of the water. We were able to meet the owner who was extremely friendly and offered many suggestions on places to eat, shop and fish. Wehad a wonderful time and hope to be able to visit again."Guest: Billy &Rin Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 19, 2014View listing

And after an exhilarating but tiring day on the water, you can come "home" to grill your catch and relax in peace and comfort. With Islamorada vacation rentals you CAN have it all!
From your Islamorada beach rentals home venture out to explore the plethora of great beaches; the beach at Plantation Yacht Harbor boasts a nice and deep swimming area. There's great snorkeling at Islamorada County Park, where the beach runs along a natural creek. But watch out for the strong currents here, especially if you're traveling with children. For a cozy beach with a boardwalk, go to Anne's Beach on Lower Matecumbe Key. There are plenty more. Just ask any local to point you in the direction of a great beach.
