  • Beautiful and Spacious property, great for mini-season

"This property is one of a kind. Nearly every window in the house and the cottage has a view of the water. It is very secluded and private with plenty of room for a big group. We had two boats docked up and it was so easy just to launch the boats into the water right from the house instead of having to go to a nearby boat ramp and pay to use the ramp. We also liked how easy it was to get out to the ocean to catch lobster and fish. We ended up with 29 lobster, a grouper, a hogfish, and a mutton snapper. We absolutely feasted like royalty and the kitchen made it easy to do that. It was fully stocked with spices and every cooking utensil/pot/pan etc that you could ever need. We loved ringing the bell outside when a meal was ready, we called it the dinner bell! There is no shortage of entertainment here from the paddle boards and kayaks to the old school poker table that we used almost every night. Between the group we had three small dogs and they enjoyed it as much as the people. Shadow Point is a special place and we had a blast! I highly recommend it."

  • First Time Renter - Excellent Choice - Can't Wait To Do It Again!

"We drove 7 hours to the house and my sister's family flew into Ft. Lauderdale. From the minute we all arrived it was perfect! We were in the pool and enjoying ourselves immediately. Four adults and four kids--plenty of room for everyone and there was so much to keep us entertained. We brought our boat and the dock was very convenient. We swam, snorkeled, fished, went kayaking on the canal, and relaxed. The house was exactly as advertised and much more. We hated the week to end. We would highly recommend this property."

  • February 2012

"We had the pleasure of staying at this home for the month of February. The home is spacious and clean and located in a nice spot. However, everything is very outdated. Most of the patio furniture is broken and very uncomfortable. Most of what is wrong with the place requires a little money and some TLC thrown at it. It would have been nice to see a gardener once or twice. The televisions are outdated and hung from the ceilings - requires a chiropractor later. The owner is very responsive to having repair people arrive to fix anything that's wrong but that can be inconvenient. Despite our disappointment with a number of shortcomings, we enjoyed our stay. The area has many very good restaurants, access to kayak rentals, fishing, diving, etc. The canal is visited everyday by manatees who are very friendly and love a squirt of fresh water. Two of our passing kayakers tied up at our dock and swam with them in the water. A delight!"

  • Great place to stay

"We stayed at Sally and Andrew´s place for a week. When we looked for a place to stay, we wanted a place not to far of Key West and Miami, and this place was just great! There were lots of places to eat out, things to see, and Key West and Miami was not to far away. The apartment was great, Andrew was too! Everthing regarding the stay were done in a professionel way. Both before the stay and after. The way of paying could have been easier though, but that is not a big problem We had a great time, all four of us visiting from Norway. If anyone should ask me where to stay in that erea, I have absolutely no problem telling them about Sally and Andrew´s place! PS: Make shure to have the time to eat at Mrs Mac´s Kitchen..."

Anglers Park Travel Tips

Ecotourism Goes Hand-in-Hand with Anglers Park House Rentals

South Florida is one the premier destinations for ecotourists who are looking to minimize their impact on the environment and educate themselves about local wildlife that is unique to the region as well as ways to preserve it for the future. Anglers Park house rentals put you right at the heart of two of the best destinations for ecotourism: the Everglades and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park.

Between Two Pristine National Treasures

Anglers Park beach rentals are situated between two of the most pristine and precious national treasures in the US: the Everglades and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. The reef is the only living coral reef in North America, but it is in danger of being destroyed through global warming and human interference with its natural ecosystem. To help preserve it and its dependent wildlife, you'll want to stay near the water and not in some large cold hotel. You can charter local guides to give low-impact tours so you preserve its beauty in your memory before it is gone. The Everglades National Park is another natural jewel of the US that is slowly being drained and degraded. Anglers Park house rentals are only a hop, skip, and jump from the park, helping you save money on gas, or giving you the option of biking to the park, something that may not be available from local hotels.

Living Low-impact with Vacation Rentals

In Anglers Park beach rentals, you can control your carbon footprint by using less energy on heating, water, and air-conditioning. And since Key Largo vacation rentals are situated in residential areas, you can save money on gas by biking or walking to local shops and restaurants. Anglers Park house rentals also give you the freedom to cook at home, avoiding wasteful and expensive restaurants. House rental are the way to go for ecotourism.
