"Just arrived home from probably the best vacation ever - family vacation for 7 of us. From the moment we walked in - smelled great and looked great (even better than the pictures). After a great dinner & cocktails at the Pilot House Marina & Restaurant (service was great too) we spent our first of many relaxing nights on the upper deck, watching the sun set, the lights twinkle and feeling that great ocean breeze while playing cards and enjoying being together. After a quick trip to Publix in the morning, breakfast on the boat, then off to explore. We enjoyed a local beach and John Pennekamp State Park where my granddaughter enjoyed playing in the "sand". The kids (ages 37 down to 24) rented paddle boats & a kayaks - which were delivered right to the boat Dinner on the boat with fresh seafood we purchased from the Fishery right across the way. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of room to be together and plenty of place to have privacy. Gail & Michelle, thank you for answering all our questions, you were great throughout the whole process and we have already recommended you to family & friends!!"

"My mom and I stayed here and this was by far the best location we've stayed at in the Keys. The photos are completely accurate and are the peaceful view you can plan on. The condo has everything needed and offers the peace and quiet you can't get at most of the other rentals in the Keys. The condo is on Long Key, centrally located within the Keys and an easy drive to lots of excellent excursions - or to just to stay and lounge at the condo. The owner, Jerry, was extremely helpful and provided a lot of great info. The condo looks out over the state park (the entrance is a half mile walk from the end of the street with a bicycle/pedestrian path to and beyond the state park entrance). The owners have kayaks (single and double), a canoe and bicycles and there was always one available (there are three other units in the building - two 1-bedroom units on top and two 2-bedroom units on the bottom, including this one). Plenty of parking room for 4 cars to easily park without parking anyone in the parking area. The view from the condo was just as shown. We saw sharks, stingrays and numerous fish and birds every day. We say full grown nurse sharks a couple times and a full grown green sea turtle one morning. I took a kayak out a couple times (once around the estuary and once out to the bay and even had a sandbar shark swim alongside me for several minutes). Out on the kayak, it was so peaceful and private that I felt as if I was the only person in the world. Long Key isn't developed other than the town that this condo is located in (Layton) and only has one small convenience store and gas station so you may want to go to Tavernier or Marathon for supplies (about 20 minutes drive). I also highly recommend visiting the Turtle Hospital in Marathon. It was very educational and great for both adults and children."

Great location, perfect home base for boaters on the go
"The place was simple and clean, and in an excellent location to get to a variety of activities by both boat and car. Nice setup for my group of friends to each have their own space in the house, and be able to easily hop on the boat and head out to go tubing, to restaurants, snorkeling, and more.
If you're looking for a luxury resort type of vacation then you should look at a luxury resort, but if you're just looking for a great value in a central area with all the essentials, then this home is perfect. I would stay here again without a doubt."

"Whatever you think when you read the description, the reality of Paradise Cove is better. My parents and my family were lucky enough to be able to spend 3 weeks at this beautiful property. The house is definitely top end, with all of the amenities that you can imagine. It has been kept in very good condition. The elevator made access extremely easy for my parents. For those that are a adventurous, the kayaks are a really nice touch to allow for some excursions off the coast. We were able to rent a boat, which we kept right in front of the house, and the ride to Molasses reef takes about 20 minutes. You can change reefs every day, with lots of surprises and assurance of lots of fish. My dad and I went fishing almost every day, and we actually broke two rods with fish too big to land. In any case, this property will not disappoint you. The owner, Wendy, was extremely helpful in giving information and helping us prepare for our trip, and the on-site property manager provided unbelievable friendly service. If you want a dream vacation, this is the place!"
