  • Perfect Stay, 100% as advertised!! Owner communicated fantastically

"A group of 4 guys stayed at this awesome condo for 3 nights. The condo was really clean and nice. The beds were comfortable. It's location was perfect for us as we were Scuba Diving. The pool area worked perfectly. My favorite things about this condo: 1. The balcony offered a huge amount of seating in the sun or out of the sun. 2. Very clean 3. This place is very quiet, the condo and the complex. 4. The owner was great to deal with, he communicated and responded fantastically."

  • Wonderful Accommodations in a Great Location!

"My husband and I stayed here with our three adult children and we could not be happier that we chose this house. Jose and Maria were consistently kind, helpful and responsive. I didn't have time to check into the area attractions before we left, so I was thrilled to receive an email with a whole list of things we may be interested in doing. We pretty much did them all (day trips to Key West and Miami/South Beach as well as local attractions). Don't miss the snorkeling tours at John Pennekamp State Park, and be sure to watch the sunset on the patio at Sundowners! The house is roomy and comfortable, with every amenity you could ask for. We especially appreciated the gas grill for cooking fresh fish, and the game room. The private beach/park is an added bonus. It even has a picnic shelter and restrooms. There were never more than a few other people there, and it's so convenient having it within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Key Largo and would highly recommend renting this beautifully decorated and well maintained home!"

  • More Bang for your bucks

"I am reluctant to give this secret away to everyone. The dates will get tight now. We've stayed in a lot of rental homes and this is the best for the money we've experienced. 1. Location looks remote, but the water is deep and not that far to the ocean or the bay side. A very large boat, over 22 feet, might have a problem maneuvering in the canal, if the captain is not well practiced. Gas station almost within throwing distance; West Marine a couple miles down the road; and the place was easy to find. We liked that we did not have to go way into the Keys. Elbow reef is offshore. The property is beautifully landscaped and secluded due to the foliage. We enjoyed the boat rides through the mangroves; African Queen-style scenery. 2. The boat ramp (key provided by Jim) is a bit shallow, a float on trailer might have problems; but a steeper ramp is available at near by Pennekamp and a travel lift is available at Buzzard's Roost Marina (Cove). Jim can give you tips on other benefits he might have. 3. The dock behind the house is the best we have experienced. My 85 yo dad had little difficulty getting on and off the boat. Fresh water is available with the hose to wash off dive gear and the outside shower with hot water was fantastic. 4. Jim has included everything the average family would need to have an enjoyable experience. We are outdoor enthusiasts, we found plenty of room to get all your toys (and Jim's) organized and maintained on the property. And, enough room for two or three boats along the dock. Other reviews have explained what's there. Jim is very accommodating with information and the most personable owner we've ever encountered. I ask anyone renting the place to be respectful and honorable with the property, as Jim has trusted folks with alot of access to personal property to make your visit enjoyable. We've not seen this much accommodation before. It was like borrowing a friend's home. 5. Negatives: not many; it's not a perfect world. As has been stated, the bathrooms are a consideration; but if you are a large group of strangers, you probably will not stay here to begin with. (Pull out the big bucks and get a mansion.) I would put a half bath in the big ground floor room, at least. It would be nice to have king beds in two of the bedrooms that were big enough, but we seldom see that accommodation in any rental home. THIS WAS THE CLEANEST HOME WE'VE EVER STAYED IN. Some lights by the shower and parking area? We would rent again."

  • Just got back from a Glorious 9 days

"We stayed for 9 days. What a wonderful location, minutes from great food, great water, great diving. This is a perfect house location for a diving trip. You have the pool to relax in, or get re-acquainted with your gear. the home is decorated just about perfect for the location, some nice colors, wall decor, not over the top, just perfect to let you know your in an island home. Plenty of parking (we had 2 cars but could have parked 3 if not 4 in the parking area). Very quiet, A/C blows cold. Beds are comfortable, kitchen amenities were perfect. WIFI, and Cable TV. Didn't use the SPA, tried but couldn't get it to heat, but honestly one doesn't want to be outside at night in the Florida Keys around the water ways, too many mosquitoes trying to make a meal of you. Honestly we are very happy we found this home, the owners/or management were very easy to deal with, answered questions etc.etc. 3 bedrooms, 1 had a king, 1 had a queen and 1 had a trundle. The wife and I sleep on a CA King at home, but here we took the Queen and were both surprised we had no issues with it, didn't feel small and was quite comfortable. Couches were really nice to lay out on watching some TV and relaxing after our dives. I'm thankful the owner had his boat moved or out while we were there, it opened up the view to the canal, so the boy could do some fishing and it just allowed for a more usable space. Will be back if they don't sell it :)"
