  • Great place for a family getaway!

"My wife and I stayed for a week with our 5 and 7yo and we had a blast. The outdoor area is very private, both interior and exterior are nicely appointed and comes most everything you need for outdoor living and cooking, which means pretty much all you need to bring is your clothes and food to cook! We used this as our base and toured southern Florida and the Keys since the property is ideally located about half way between Miami and the Everglades to the north and Key West to the south. It's only 5 minutes away from a great grocery store and close enough that we were still able to get Pizza and Chinese delivered the couple of the nights we didn't feel like cooking or going out! Pool is great, not too deep and leads to a sandy beach where our kids played daily after returning from whatever we'd set out to do for the day. Only issue we had was the internet was down - Lillie had Comcast out to fix it but they never were able to - so we had to rely on our phones for the internet. Highly recommend and we'll likely be coming back in 2015!"

  • Fabulous Sunrises and Beautiful Spacious Accommodations

"The neighbors were downright welcoming! The View from the lanai was amazing and the interior felt like home! How nice it was to spend our precious family vacation in such a delightful place. The condo felt like a house and had room to spare. At one point, every bed was filled and the atmosphere was lively, yet there was plenty of room to accommodate all of us. We spent a idyllic time in and out of this condo, which seemed too large to be called just that. A washer and dryer that kept this family in business and three (3) ... yes three (3) bathrooms for all of us to get ready in the evening for jaunts to the Buccaneer Island Beach, Islander restaurant and a few late evenings at the Burgee Bar. Fun was had by all and we truly did not want to leave our home away from home. We were pleasantly surprised that the photos could not do justice to such a large place, elegantly appointed yet functional. There is a seawall that gave boat access directly out into the Atlanta and yet sheltered by a grove of mangroves for any passing storm. This gem is highly recommended as one of the hidden jewels of Ocean Reef Club."

  • Family Vacation

"Had a great vacation in the keys and this rental was an integral part of it. As a family of 4 w/2 small dogs, the accommodations were very nice and clean. The private beach/dock access was truly memorable (bring your fishing rods as the kids will love it!). There are also kayaks that are easy to use and transport (enjoy the sunset from the water!). The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The second floor living area is cozy and comfortable. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has bunk-beds. Each room has a television w/basic cable. Free Wi-Fi throughout the house. The first floor is basically a screened-in outdoor game room. No AC but there is a fan and a quality BBQ grill (which we used daily). The yard it is not fenced though. The owner was easily reachable via e-mail/text and the invoice process was clear and easy. Not giving a 5-star rating due to some minor upgrades that the house can use. However, for the price, location, and truly memorable vacation experience, we plan on coming back. For those considering a hotel room, we are so glad that we went with this property instead."

  • Great Family Vacation

"Just arrived home from probably the best vacation ever - family vacation for 7 of us. From the moment we walked in - smelled great and looked great (even better than the pictures). After a great dinner & cocktails at the Pilot House Marina & Restaurant (service was great too) we spent our first of many relaxing nights on the upper deck, watching the sun set, the lights twinkle and feeling that great ocean breeze while playing cards and enjoying being together. After a quick trip to Publix in the morning, breakfast on the boat, then off to explore. We enjoyed a local beach and John Pennekamp State Park where my granddaughter enjoyed playing in the "sand". The kids (ages 37 down to 24) rented paddle boats & a kayaks - which were delivered right to the boat Dinner on the boat with fresh seafood we purchased from the Fishery right across the way. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of room to be together and plenty of place to have privacy. Gail & Michelle, thank you for answering all our questions, you were great throughout the whole process and we have already recommended you to family & friends!!"
