"We really enjoyed our stay here, and the owners were very nice. They were helpful when needed and it was easy to communicate with them. We had never stayed at a house on a canal before. Sitting by the canal was very relaxing where we could fish and still had internet access. The wildlife was amazing, we saw peacocks, iguanas, a lot of different types of fish, jellyfish and manatees(saw 7 at 1 time). It was a peaceful neighborhood, with friendly neighbors. There's a lot to do and a lot of great restaurants in this area."

A Little Piece of Heaven! (make that a Big Piece!)
"Our jaws dropped and we were speechless when we saw the view as we walked straight from the front door out to the lanai upon arrival! The condo was perfect! Our stay here couldn't have been better from beginning to end! From the bedroom, living room, and kitchen the view looks like a picture postcard! We were and are still enchanted. Now to the condo! It's so inviting in every way, complete with comfortable inviting furniture, a fantastic entertainment system, spacious master with lots of storage and a walk in closet, and two baths that are comfortable. The second bedroom also has a huge closet where there are fishing rods, various balls, drying racks and extra bedding. It doesn't have a view but does have two comfortable beds with trundles, and a large dresser! The kitchen is stocked well, has a serviceable electric stove, side by side frig/freezer, and ice maker. There is a medium sized dining table with four chairs which we rarely used as the lanai called us! The tile floor throughout made for easy Swifer style cleaning which was helpful as we had our cat with us. There was a breeze from the bay keeping the need for AC to a minimum. There is a washer and dryer in the condo as well. The boat dock directly in front of the condo is cause of some dirt that sifts through the screens. When we were there a huge machine moved many boats in and out of the water. The sediment can easily be taken care of with a dry swifer, and is certainly manageable, and no more than regular upkeep. The hurricane glass silders on the lanai were hugely helpful during the one torrential rain storm we had, as the lanai was safe and usable throughout nature's wild show! We LOVED our time there and plan to return, only wishing it could be for more time. Sky views from the lanai from dawn until nighttime rival any we've ever seen. The owner is extremely helpful in every way, and immediately responsive to my questions. (way too many!) The entire community is welcoming, and we spent many glorious hours in the deep and warm pool. The plantings are luscious and beautifully maintained making you feel like you're on a Caribbean island! Kayaking and fishing are incredible here and the water is crystal clear. Have I mentioned how much we loved it? Well, we did, and can hardly wait to go back!"

"We just came back from a week in the Keys and we stayed at Santiago's unit. The pictures of the unit are accurate. It was clean and just the right size for us (2 adults and 2 children). I loved the fact that there's no carpet in the unit (tile and laminate only). The kitchen was well stocked with pots pans etc and the pantry was also well stocked with staples . The kitchen cabinets were clean and the appliances all worked. We couldn't figure out how to work the dvd player and the tvs were older CRT types but we don't watch a lot of tv etc anyway so that wasn't a big deal for us. The pool is very clean but it's a bit small and can get crowded in the afternoon but it's a great size for younger children. The children loved the pool. We didn't go into the lagoon, the kids preferred to spend their time in the pool. The unit is close to the lagoon and the pool. It's very easy to get to all the Keys attractions from this location.
This was our first time in the Keys, it's very different from Disney and similar tourist destinations. We all loved it and really enjoyed sport fishing. My 11yr old can't wait to go back and fish."

"We stayed in this beautiful home for a week with close friends. We had a fantastic time. Location is good. We had 3 children, ages 12, 13 and 16. All had a great time exploring and fishing. We were able to see a Manatee, Barricuda, and many other fish off dock. Didn't have the best luck fishing from there, but still fun for the kids. We utilized the pool everyday. It was quite warm, but to be expected with temperatures in the 90's. Wendy gave us Captain Pete's name for a fishing trip and we had a fabulous time. We ended up catching 9 maui, maui. Tons of restaurants close by. Pennecamp State Park is very close as well, we went snorkeling there. All and all we had a fabulous time and this property was perfect for our needs."
