  • Fantastic Getaway!

"We were seven friends looking to take a break from the Minnesota winter while avoid the crowds of some parts of Florida. The house itself was set up perfectly for us with the four bedrooms, and the bathrooms were in really nice condition. The kitchen/dining/living area was good for late night cards, finishing a little work that we procrastinated on, and cooking/making sangria for everyone. The location was ideal, too. It's about a mile from a free beach that was quiet when we went during the week, and a short drive from a larger beach area. There is also a Winn Dixie only a few minutes away for when you forget to buy pizza sauce to make dinner. The highlight of the house was definitely the back patio! There was ample room to lounge about and enjoy the outdoors! While some of my friends preferred to sleep in until 11 am, one of my favorite moments was putting the kayak in the water and paddling out to watch the sunrise from the ocean. Altogether, I would highly recommend staying at this house. David is very nice, the property is beautiful, and the location is fantastic. If we can find a time next year that we all are free, we will try to go here first!"

  • Real nice place to stay

"We rented this appartment from the Netherlands. Communication with Cynthia worked well via e-mail. All questions were answered quickly. The appartment is very clean and all useful items are available: dvd's, toys, towels, kitchen is well equiped. The two bedrooms have their own bathroom, perfect for a family like ours with two kids. There are plenty of activities in the area. Snorkling from the shore, trips to Key West, a visit to the State Park. We enjoyed our stay and we recommend this appartment!"

  • relax

"Cant plan the weather, our stay comprised mostly rain and windy days that put a damper on boat plans but the house was a great way to just kick back and relax. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to just pack a swimsuit and get away with all the house needs already in place. We had a great vacation and hope to visit again more years to come,, thanks for sharing your little slice of heaven!!"

"Our family of 7 adults and 1 child had the pleasure of spending a week at this beautiful vacation home. The home is exceptionally clean and laid out perfectly providing privacy for everyone. We were greeted by Gloria's son Carlos who toured us through the home and property to make sure that all our needs were met, and we had the pleasure of meeting Gloria on the day we left to thank her for a very enjoyable stay. (Thanks to Carlos, and their community breast cancer awareness fundraiser, he even provided us with t-shirts which made for a great family photo) This home exceeded all our expectations. Without a doubt one of the best vacation homes we ever rented. The property and the home are absolutely gorgeous and well stocked with pool supplies, condiments, bait, life vests, etc. Our son enjoyed cruising the peninsula in the Kayaks, and the pool is probably one of the best we have ever used. Perfect for all ages!! We all enjoyed the Tiki hut and out door bathroom. Our grandson enjoyed exploring the peninsula and seeing all the many different sea life and animals that frequented the property everyday including hermit crabs, an Iguana and an Egret that visited us frequently. A true boating community with gorgeous views of the peninsula. Even though there is no need to ever leave the property, there is so much to see and do in the surrounding area. What a great place to visit. I can't count the times my husband asked me if we could please vacation here again. We hope that we will be able to return to this home in the near future. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us."
