  • Great Key West trip!

"My wife and I spent a week in this townhouse while honeymooning in Key West and enjoyed it! The townhouse was clean, nicely furnished, and close to the sights. It was only a short walk to Duval Street, Mallory Square, restaurants, museums, shopping, the marina, and Ft. Taylor State Park. The townhouse is located in a very nice gated community and was safe and quiet. Keith was great to work with as well. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Key West."

  • 30th Anniversary Trip

"This is the second time we have stayed at this property and have never been disappointed! Close to everything yet feels so secluded. Easy stroll to Mallory Square and Duval Street. The condo is clean, spacious and has everything you could possibly need. The view is incredible and perfect for watching the sunset each evening."

  • Destination Wedding

"We stayed at this lovely cottage for a week. Our niece had a destination wedding in Key West, sunset on the beach, which was fabulous! The cottage was very cozy. My husband and I love the keys and have visited often over the years, however, we have never stayed in Key West. We've always stayed on one of the lower keys. The cottage is close to many things. Sandy's is a wonderful place to grab something to eat. They are open 24hrs! They have the BEST cuban sandwich. The patio was very nice and private. We found the bed to be very comfortable, and slept very well. Parking is an issue, so I would not recommend a rental car. Taxi service is fast and reasonable - especially compared to car rental costs. We hated to leave, but missed our 4 legged babies waiting for us at home. Marilyn's cottage is definitely a spot I would choose again for a vacation in Key West. Marilyn is very nice and easy to deal with. Great place!"

Private Homes, Historic Seaport Travel Tips

Enjoy Historic Seaport House Rentals for a Taste of Old Key West

The Key West waterfront on the Gulf side is where the island's founding citizens of the late nineteenth century built the Historic Seaport community that still captivates locals and visitors alike. The homes, buildings, and shipping docks of the Key West Historic Seaport District remain a world-renowned grouping of Victorian Era/Caribbean-influenced architecture and design. Residents of Historic Seaport house rentals are lucky enough to be able to spend some leisure time immersed in the charms of a one-of-a-kind Old World Key West neighborhood that harkens back to the days of seafaring merchants.

Right in the Midst of Key West History and Modern Day Fun

Residents at Historic Seaport beach rentals can follow the Historic Seaport Harbor Walk to nearby Old Town Key West — a two mile long wooden walk that passes charter boats, sunset cruisers, tall ships, and open-air bars and restaurants. Take in lots of sea breezes, sunshine, and people-watching as you make your way to Old Town Key West and all of its distinctive attractions, including shops, art galleries, cafes, restaurants, and museums. Not far from centrally located Historic Seaport beach rentals are all the other destinations and activities popular with generations of Key West locals and visitors: tropical beaches, snorkeling, diving, water sports, golfing, marinas and boating, fishing, botanical gardens, the Key West Aquarium, and the nightly Mallory Square Sunset Celebration.

A Fascinating Key West Waterfront Neighborhood You'll Never Forget

The Historic Seaport District offers a number of Key West vacation rentals that are delightfully renovated residences, each with its own "personality" and features. Historic Seaport house rentals range from grand Caribbean-style villas to former sea merchants' homes to quaint cottages. Amenities at these house rentals may include comfortable living spaces, bedrooms, kitchens, laundry facilities, and recreational areas that welcome visitors in authentic and time-honored Key West style.
