  • Turning 50 getaway

"We rented this condo for a getaway vacation with another couple and it was just excellent for 2 couples. The condo was very clean and nicely stocked with just about everything you would need to get away. Water views over the harbor area where the boats come in and out. Nicole was super to work with and a very gracious host. Nice location within walking distance to all the Duval St. action, about 8-10 blocks to get to the heart of the action there. The seafood festival was going on right across the street so we were able to enjoy that fun event. We didn't use the pool as the temps were unseasonably cool and we were busy doing other things. Nice place for a reasonably priced getaway in a wonderful location! Thanks Nicole for everything - we will be back with the kids for another stay hopefully soon."

  • Charming and Perfect in Paradise!

"My husband and I stayed at the cottage this past summer and it could not have been more perfect! The location is ideal: close to the chaos of Duval, yet even closer to the tranquility of the marina. And since the building is tucked away in a 6 unit complex, it remains secluded and peaceful. The decor is charming, unique and so fitting for the island locale. The pool was a welcome respite on hot nights after a run, or lazy weekends out in the sun. We loved to spend the evenings walking around the marina for: people watching, excellent happy hours, beautiful sunsets, colorful fish and of course, the clear blue water. Afterwards, a nightcap on the side patio, listening to the swaying palms. Truly one of the greatest spots to stay on the island! The best part: the owners were simply amazing to coordinate with and extremely accommodating - they made everything SO easy! We immediately felt at home upon our arrival. You really only need to bring the necessities, for they have thought of all the lovely details. And the neighbors are all great, too. I highly, highly, highly recommend this cottage for couples who like to venture to close-by attractions on foot/bike and love to walk by the water!"

  • First timers

"This was the first time we ever stayed on a boat. The Aria was the place to have that first experience. For our group it was an adventure mixed with a vacation. Capt. Mark really was the man of the hour. He answered every question and gave us insight on how the boat works. The sunset cruise was great. Yes, I would do it again but next time I think we would like to go out to sea for the 4 hour sail. Thank you Capt. Mark."

  • a little bit of paradise

"My husband and I just spent a month in the Tree House and loved every minute of it. The deck is a wonderful place to relax either lounging in the hammock, sitting in the lounge chairs or just sitting at the table eating your meal. We also enjoyed the generous hospitality of the owner who went out of his way to please. The location is also great for walking to "whatever is happening" on Duval Street or the Historic Seaport. We are going back!"

Private Homes, Historic Seaport Travel Tips

Enjoy Historic Seaport House Rentals for a Taste of Old Key West

The Key West waterfront on the Gulf side is where the island's founding citizens of the late nineteenth century built the Historic Seaport community that still captivates locals and visitors alike. The homes, buildings, and shipping docks of the Key West Historic Seaport District remain a world-renowned grouping of Victorian Era/Caribbean-influenced architecture and design. Residents of Historic Seaport house rentals are lucky enough to be able to spend some leisure time immersed in the charms of a one-of-a-kind Old World Key West neighborhood that harkens back to the days of seafaring merchants.

Right in the Midst of Key West History and Modern Day Fun

Residents at Historic Seaport beach rentals can follow the Historic Seaport Harbor Walk to nearby Old Town Key West — a two mile long wooden walk that passes charter boats, sunset cruisers, tall ships, and open-air bars and restaurants. Take in lots of sea breezes, sunshine, and people-watching as you make your way to Old Town Key West and all of its distinctive attractions, including shops, art galleries, cafes, restaurants, and museums. Not far from centrally located Historic Seaport beach rentals are all the other destinations and activities popular with generations of Key West locals and visitors: tropical beaches, snorkeling, diving, water sports, golfing, marinas and boating, fishing, botanical gardens, the Key West Aquarium, and the nightly Mallory Square Sunset Celebration.

A Fascinating Key West Waterfront Neighborhood You'll Never Forget

The Historic Seaport District offers a number of Key West vacation rentals that are delightfully renovated residences, each with its own "personality" and features. Historic Seaport house rentals range from grand Caribbean-style villas to former sea merchants' homes to quaint cottages. Amenities at these house rentals may include comfortable living spaces, bedrooms, kitchens, laundry facilities, and recreational areas that welcome visitors in authentic and time-honored Key West style.
