  • Tropical Setting, Near anything you might need

"Campbell Courtyard Townhouse in the Sky was perfect for our needs. We were 2 blocks from Duval St and only a block from a grocery store. The pool area is cozy and gorgeous. There was a gardener or groundskeeper that came numerous times during the week to keep the place looking great. The home featured bedrooms as you walk in that each had its own bathroom, as well as a walkout deck area. Laundry area was on this level as well. Second floor had kitchen which had most anything you need to cook should you choose to, and the dining and living area that both led to the skydeck which was my husbands favorite spot to people watch as they came and went to Duval St. Any "neighbor" we spoke with were very friendly. We chose not to rent a car as we were within walking distance to everything. Overall, we hope to visit this place again next time. Only downfall was a couple maintenance guys that came to powerwash the building while we were trying to relax in the pool. There were a few feral cats that hung out but you would only see them early in the am or late in the evening. LOVE LOVE LOVE the spot!"

  • Amazing Home in Key West - Definitely Rent It!

"The listing for this Key West home was detailed and accurate. The amenities are better than listed on the screen. The home is fabulous. It is very clean and neat and well appointed. The homeowner had every detail covered, from having different types of glasses for different beverages to towels for the shower and towels for the pool. For those who want to stay connected to the outside world, the home has a nice desk area with wireless internet and a wireless printer. The home has been completely renovated and the kitchen is modern as well as all the bathrooms. Yet it is full of Key West charm including Dade Pine on the walls. The home is in Old Town but at a quiet end. It is a one mile bike ride to Duval Street where there is nightlife, bars and restaurants. We mostly rode bikes and left the car at the house. The house is also very convenient to New Town where there is more conventional shopping like Publix and Walgreens. It is about a 3 minute drive to those stores. Key West is magical. And this home made it so comfortable - we felt like we really lived there."

  • Fabulous stay in every way!

"This was our first time staying at the Hollinsed House, but it definitely won't be the last! The house and grounds were beautiful and the "Poolside Suite" was perfect for two people. The location couldn't have been more convenient for Fantasy Fest and general sightseeing (within easy walking distance of Duval Street, the Cemetery, etc). Ruth the housekeeper was a gem and was very attentive to our needs. We were as comfortable as we've ever been in a vacation rental -- it felt like home! Tracey was easy to work with and we had no issues. I couldn't recommend the Hollinsed House more!"

  • Wonderful Stay!

"We had a great stay and have only good things to say about the condo and the complex as a whole. They had plenty of towels and linens, everything in the condo was kept up very well and very clean. The kitchen looks like it has been updated in the past few years with beautiful counter tops, newer appliances and cabinetry. The balcony furniture was very nice. The buildings themselves are in nice shape. The owners association might want to look at replacing the hallway carpet. There were some very large stains on the carpet in the hallway. The rest of the building was very nice and maybe that is why the stains and the fading of the hallway carpets stood out to us. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. The foliage was beautiful with a gorgeous ocean view from the pool area. The pool area was beautiful and well maintained. The only complaint about the pool itself was for the first 4 days there was a build up of scum at the southeast corner of the deep end. The top row of blue tiles all the way around the pool also had a slippery scummy feel to them. They needed to be scrubbed. By Wednesday someone had taken care of this problem and it never reappeared during our stay. Another issue at the pool area would be the saving of chairs by laying your towels down on them and then walking away for several hours. There are several signs out at the pool letting people know that it is unacceptable. The guests at the complex seemed to follow this rule but we got the impression that the permanent residents seemed to think they were above having to follow the rules. The lounge chairs were in great shape and you never had trouble getting one, but if you didn't get up early and save your chairs you didn't get the prime spots. We never did this and followed the rule. As for the umbrellas, which were very nice, the complex needs to purchase more. People were very reluctant to part with them even when asked very politely. The most irritating part was that they wouldn't even use them! They just didn't want to share! Again this was not the guests, these were the permanent residents. You definitely were made to feel that you were being watched by them. As a whole they seemed to have superior attitude and as a guest they made you feel unwanted on their property. None of this got in the way of us having a great time and I would look at renting again here. I think the association needs a to have a training seminar for the permanent residents on how to be more hospitable!"
