  • Wonderful retreat!!

"I did a lot of research prior to booking our hotel stay in Key West. I fell in love with this cottage from the start, and was never disappointed once we arrived. The location was great. It was near all of the downtown action yet felt so private and secluded. There were times I could hear some noise from Duval Street (especially when all of the bikers came to town), but it did not keep me from sleeping. The "compound" as it was called houses 4 or 5 cottages behind locked gates. They all share a beautiful pool surrounded by lush tropical plants and walkways. We never saw anyone else in the pool the entire time we were there (5 nights). There is a sweet cat that greeted us each time we returned home, and that was a nice touch. Parking can be an issue in Key West, but we lucked up and were able to get one of the few spots right out front on 2 occasions. After taking a day trip to Bahia Honda State Park we lost our spot and had to pay $25 to park overnight in a lot right behind Ann St. Key West is a walking city so if you get lucky enough to find a spot try to keep it! Just a little hint too--if you get a spot right out front, go inside and use the key to unlock the private gate off of the patio. This leads directly to the street, and you can bring your luggage in right to the bedroom from there. The cottage itself is very quaint and tastefully decorated. It was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The walk in shower is awesome! Being in such a tropical climate I did see a few ants and 2 "palmetto bugs" in the bathroom. I also had a very small lizard that would visit me in the laundry area at times. This didn't bother us or detract from the beauty of the property. There is a private patio area off of the bedroom/living room that has a grill, lounging chairs, and a table with seating for 4. There is a shared washer/dryer in the compound, but this cottage also has a washer/dryer of its own. We loved this because our clothes were always sweaty from the heat and humidity. There is a safe in the laundry area too that we utilized a couple of times. It was nice to know your extra cash and jewelry were locked up when you were away for the day. Dean was very easy to deal with, and was always quick to respond when I had questions. I absolutely loved this place and would return again if I came back to Key West! I hope this review is helpful and you enjoy your stay as much as we did."

  • Parrot Fun

"We really enjoyed this condo. The Parrot theme was breathtaking and fun as the trip went on. The view of the beach was wonderful. The pool area was very inviting, never crowded. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. I love the fact it was not near Duvall st because we had lots of privacy. And the parking, well it was the best, we never worried about leaving our stuff in the truck. We will be back!!!"

  • Beautiful and convenient!

"This is a lovely condo and a perfect home base for a stay in Key West. Very comfortable and well maintained. Walking distance from Mallory Square, Duvall Street, and Fort Zachary Taylor park and beach. The owners were extremely responsive, and arrangements before our arrival were a breeze. We hope to return again!"

  • Great little studio with bikes included.

"My husband and I stayed in Ken's studio for three nights over the Thanksgiving holidays. The studio was very clean and provided everything we needed during our stay. The bikes are a wonderful addition and were used everyday to visit different spots around Key West. The studio will accommodate 2 people not more and it is very affordable in comparison to the neighboring B&B's. Also, I would like to mention that Ken provided amazing information on excursions, restaurants, and things to do. We went on two excursions with Sebago sports- recommend! Visited Fort Zachary State Park on our bikes- this is definitely the most beautiful spot in the whole Key West. I highly recommend Ken and this studio for a couple's getaway. Thank you."
