  • Yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus

"If this property is available and you are reading this review, book it. It was amazing. It is impossible to explain the tranquility you will feel in this oasis. Heaven on Earth. You can't help but feel peace in your heart and soul. From the moment you open the gate, you know that this is going to be a great place to stay. For those of you who want a clean property, this is it. It was spotless. The bamboo floors are pleasing to your bare feet. The kitchen has a toaster, glasses, plates, pots, pans, anything you need. I don't drink coffee, but there was a coffee maker as well. It has a large refrigerator as well. The bed is queen size, and very comfortable. No aches and pains. The air conditioner worked marvelously in 90 degree weather. Location was great, no more than a 10 minutes bike ride to anywhere we wanted to go. We did many activities during our stay; jet skis, para sailing, snorkeling, paddle boards, sight seeing and of course eating. We loved the Floating Thai restaurant, the Schooner wharf for shrimp cocktail and mussels during happy hour, Siboney's cuban restaurant, Blue Heavan for breakfast with the roosters and Off the Hook for a fabulous fish sandwich. There are lots of little bistros that we stopped at to have a taste at each place. Every place we went pleased our palates. Bicycles were our mode of transportation, and allowed us to eat, drink and be merry, and not put on a single pound. Well actually my husband gained 2 and I gained 1. The best part of our entire stay was having our private oasis to return to each day/night and taking a shower or two every day in the outdoor shower. I am hoping that my husband will build me one of my own. The owners of this property were kind and helpful from the very beginning and even brought us a cooler to use at the beach. Enjoy your stay at this amazing property."

  • Perfect vacation spot!

"The condo was clean, neat, perfect for us! This was a girl trip with 3 of us. Spent a lot of time on the front porch which was cool and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked, great clean linens, lots of towels, no complaints at all! You won't regret it. We have a rule that we can't go back to a place we've been on our annual trips but this is one we are thinking of going back too! I miss it already! Close to everything, parking right in front of unit. Could walk, bike or drive everywhere. Parking in town was difficult but we managed. We loved this trip and the accommodations made it even more enjoyable. Tracy was wonderful!! Wish we had more time!"

  • Perfect Place

"Three adult couples spent the week and Cocout Cabana is exactly what we anticipated and had everything we needed. Location was perfect, just off Duval Street. Everything accessible by foot or bike. House was exactly as shown in photos, well maintained, clean and comfortable. Linens and beds were great. Heated pool was great for lounging between activities. Thank you Dean!"

  • Month long stay December 2014

"This was my 3rd attempt at visiting Key West. We finally had success. Last time is was there we rented on a key close to Key West. The day after we arrived my mother fell and broke her pelvis, we spent the 2 weeks we were there visiting her at the Key West Hospital. I do not recommend it. This time we stayed for a month. I loss my Iphone, but some nice person turned it into the sheriff's department, so i got it back. We really enjoyed out stay on Pourhouse Lane. it was an excursion to find it, but we finally got there. the rental company was very helpful, because we had a few electrical problems. Kevin was there immediately every time we called and repairs were made quickly. this is a very nice cottage, close to Duval Street and not a tough walk to the beach or marina (we both are senior citizens). We ate out about 3 times a week and most restaurants were fantastic. I recommend the 6 Toed Cat for Key Lime Pie and Lobster Benedict. Other restaurants for dinner: Cafe Marquesa, Nine One Five, Martin's, Cafe Sole, and Seven Fishes (which is just down the street a short walk). This property was lovely. We spent our afternoons in the backyard by and in the pool. Parking could have been a problem, but if you found a spot and did not move your car on the week-end it was no problem. We went to the Publx's grocery store on Wednesday for Thursday with the car and walked every where else. I brought my sweet little kitty with me and other then getting use to the airplanes that flew in and out directly over head(she's a country cat) she did great. We would really consider coming back to Pourhouse Lane if we visit Key West again. Thanks Soren and Irene"
