  • Fantastic Old Town Cottage

"I recently stayed in the Zen Garden Conch Cottage. One week with my husband and 3 weeks with a girlfriend. We did not have a car but not a problem. We rode bike, walked or if necessary took a taxi (for those nights in high heels!). The cottage is just as it appears in the photos, adorable and extremely comfortable. Mari the housekeeper is also very friendly and willing to assist asap if a situation arises. Would definitely recommend this cottage for a Key West experience."

  • Month long stay December 2014

"This was my 3rd attempt at visiting Key West. We finally had success. Last time is was there we rented on a key close to Key West. The day after we arrived my mother fell and broke her pelvis, we spent the 2 weeks we were there visiting her at the Key West Hospital. I do not recommend it. This time we stayed for a month. I loss my Iphone, but some nice person turned it into the sheriff's department, so i got it back. We really enjoyed out stay on Pourhouse Lane. it was an excursion to find it, but we finally got there. the rental company was very helpful, because we had a few electrical problems. Kevin was there immediately every time we called and repairs were made quickly. this is a very nice cottage, close to Duval Street and not a tough walk to the beach or marina (we both are senior citizens). We ate out about 3 times a week and most restaurants were fantastic. I recommend the 6 Toed Cat for Key Lime Pie and Lobster Benedict. Other restaurants for dinner: Cafe Marquesa, Nine One Five, Martin's, Cafe Sole, and Seven Fishes (which is just down the street a short walk). This property was lovely. We spent our afternoons in the backyard by and in the pool. Parking could have been a problem, but if you found a spot and did not move your car on the week-end it was no problem. We went to the Publx's grocery store on Wednesday for Thursday with the car and walked every where else. I brought my sweet little kitty with me and other then getting use to the airplanes that flew in and out directly over head(she's a country cat) she did great. We would really consider coming back to Pourhouse Lane if we visit Key West again. Thanks Soren and Irene"

  • What a great cottage in Key West!

"Myself, my partner, and my sister-in-law arrived in Key West to celebrate birthdays and visit with family. We were very pleased with the well appointed cottage, its convenient location to everything on the island, including a drug store with everything we needed for breakfast and coffee at the cottage not to mention the incredibly convenient A&M Rentals next door where we rented our bikes for our stay. The Pool and courtyard were fabulous and the staff could not have been nicer! We will definitely be back again soon! Thank you Key West Hideaways and Orchid Cottage!"

  • Travel like a Local

"I stayed at the Golden Heron for the first time and let me tell you this house is AMAZING!!!! It has everything you could possibly want and much, much more!!!! This house is so unique (even has an open living room space) and has been remodeled with many nice upgrades. It has the true Key West charm and for a handful of days, I actually felt like a local. Aside from never wanting to leave the house, the walk to Duval street is less than a mile and if you are looking for local restaurants, you don't have to stray too far. Local cuisines are about a block away. I would most definitely stay at the golden heron again. Do not pass up this opportunity to get a true Key West feel!"
