  • RELAXED VACATION

"We went down with two other couples to escape the Minnesota Frigid temps! and absolutely loved the accommodations! Each couple had there own room and bath, the amenities in the kitchen and pool area were all 1st class. For the square footage that they have at Sea Biscuit, We had no problems at all, plenty of room. The pool was always at a great temperature, the weather was great, so we had the glass doors open to the pool area most of the time. We grilled on the deck and prepared meals in the kitchen, we were surprised by how many spices and other cooking ingredients where in the cupboard. The whole house was very up to date and clean. The location to Duval was just a few steps away, and a quick walk to the beach on the east side. Everything was clean and well maintained! We had a wonderful time! We did not want to leave! We will definitely be back! p.s. our vote for best Key Lime Pie ....... was at the Six Toed Cat Cafe, next to the Hemingway House! There really wasn't a bad piece of key lime pie on the island! LOL"

  • A great place to stay in Key West

"My wife and I recently stayed here and could not have found a more comfortable home. The pool is fantastic, and very private. We found good restaurants close, a grocery store an an ice cream parlor. As soon as you walk thru the front door you feel at home. The house came fully equipped with a great kitchen, internet access and cable TV. The many sights of Key West were just a short bicycle ride away. We plan of returning again next yeart."

  • Great experience, perfect location

"We liked staying here very much. Yolande welcomed us with a few suggestions and tips, took care of bike rental and return. The space is great, lovely grounds, with plenty of seating, and places for downtime to read or chill out. Nice little hot tub/pool for relaxing. Location is in a quiet residential neighborhood, perfect for biking to and fro. Quick walk or bike ride to Duval. Check it out, you wont be disappointed."

  • Wonderful retreat!!

"I did a lot of research prior to booking our hotel stay in Key West. I fell in love with this cottage from the start, and was never disappointed once we arrived. The location was great. It was near all of the downtown action yet felt so private and secluded. There were times I could hear some noise from Duval Street (especially when all of the bikers came to town), but it did not keep me from sleeping. The "compound" as it was called houses 4 or 5 cottages behind locked gates. They all share a beautiful pool surrounded by lush tropical plants and walkways. We never saw anyone else in the pool the entire time we were there (5 nights). There is a sweet cat that greeted us each time we returned home, and that was a nice touch. Parking can be an issue in Key West, but we lucked up and were able to get one of the few spots right out front on 2 occasions. After taking a day trip to Bahia Honda State Park we lost our spot and had to pay $25 to park overnight in a lot right behind Ann St. Key West is a walking city so if you get lucky enough to find a spot try to keep it! Just a little hint too--if you get a spot right out front, go inside and use the key to unlock the private gate off of the patio. This leads directly to the street, and you can bring your luggage in right to the bedroom from there. The cottage itself is very quaint and tastefully decorated. It was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The walk in shower is awesome! Being in such a tropical climate I did see a few ants and 2 "palmetto bugs" in the bathroom. I also had a very small lizard that would visit me in the laundry area at times. This didn't bother us or detract from the beauty of the property. There is a private patio area off of the bedroom/living room that has a grill, lounging chairs, and a table with seating for 4. There is a shared washer/dryer in the compound, but this cottage also has a washer/dryer of its own. We loved this because our clothes were always sweaty from the heat and humidity. There is a safe in the laundry area too that we utilized a couple of times. It was nice to know your extra cash and jewelry were locked up when you were away for the day. Dean was very easy to deal with, and was always quick to respond when I had questions. I absolutely loved this place and would return again if I came back to Key West! I hope this review is helpful and you enjoy your stay as much as we did."
