"Get ready for postcard views everyday from your balcony. You can not beat this location, quiet, clean, perfect. I will be a future guest here, we can't wait to get back."

"We are repeat renters because of the many positives this property offers. Ferntree is a charming , comfortable Old Town cottage, ideally located within walking distance of all Key West has to offer - from the convenience of just 3 short blocks to a local grocery to just a few blocks to Duval Street. Ferntree is also just a 3 block walk to great places to eat from casual to formal - Sandy's, El Siboney's, and Flaming Buoy. All this convenience, yet in a quiet, friendly residential neighborhood, with the added convenience of off-street parking. The property is also an absolute winner in terms of space, both indoors and out. There is a lovely vaulted great room with floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides that bring the outdoors in. There is also ample storage space, ideal for a month-long rental property. But outdoors is where we spend almost all our time. A spacious covered deck is ideal for dining and just hanging out. The pool with waterfall is both refreshing and relaxing. And there is plenty of additional outdoor space for barbecuing, dining, and lounging to accommodate even a large group. If you are looking for a comfortable, livable 'home away from home' where you can relax and really feel like you're living the island life, this cottage is a great fit.

"I did a lot of research prior to booking our hotel stay in Key West. I fell in love with this cottage from the start, and was never disappointed once we arrived. The location was great. It was near all of the downtown action yet felt so private and secluded. There were times I could hear some noise from Duval Street (especially when all of the bikers came to town), but it did not keep me from sleeping. The "compound" as it was called houses 4 or 5 cottages behind locked gates. They all share a beautiful pool surrounded by lush tropical plants and walkways. We never saw anyone else in the pool the entire time we were there (5 nights). There is a sweet cat that greeted us each time we returned home, and that was a nice touch. Parking can be an issue in Key West, but we lucked up and were able to get one of the few spots right out front on 2 occasions. After taking a day trip to Bahia Honda State Park we lost our spot and had to pay $25 to park overnight in a lot right behind Ann St. Key West is a walking city so if you get lucky enough to find a spot try to keep it! Just a little hint too--if you get a spot right out front, go inside and use the key to unlock the private gate off of the patio. This leads directly to the street, and you can bring your luggage in right to the bedroom from there. The cottage itself is very quaint and tastefully decorated. It was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The walk in shower is awesome! Being in such a tropical climate I did see a few ants and 2 "palmetto bugs" in the bathroom. I also had a very small lizard that would visit me in the laundry area at times. This didn't bother us or detract from the beauty of the property. There is a private patio area off of the bedroom/living room that has a grill, lounging chairs, and a table with seating for 4. There is a shared washer/dryer in the compound, but this cottage also has a washer/dryer of its own. We loved this because our clothes were always sweaty from the heat and humidity. There is a safe in the laundry area too that we utilized a couple of times. It was nice to know your extra cash and jewelry were locked up when you were away for the day. Dean was very easy to deal with, and was always quick to respond when I had questions. I absolutely loved this place and would return again if I came back to Key West! I hope this review is helpful and you enjoy your stay as much as we did."

"A group of us spent a full week at Sea Biscuit and loved the house! The photos don't do the property justice. The great room is larger than it looks in the photos and easily accommodated all of us. Everything you could need was provided in the kitchen and bedrooms. Todd was fantastic to work with and always responded promptly whenever I contacted him prior to our trip and during our trip. The beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect. We rented bikes from A & M on South Street and had plenty of room to lock them up on property each days when not in use. Would love to stay at this home in the future!"
