Lower Keys Paradise!
"This condo is the perfect place for water lovers. The location was ideal and Tony, Lucille and Brandon couldn't have been more accommodating. We all had a great time snorkeling and fishing right from the dock. My 14 year old son is still waterlogged. Lol. We've only been home for a few days and we can't wait to get back!"

"We stayed for a week in May, and it was just what we needed. House is beautiful, clean and properly equipped.
If you have a chance, visit the Sunset Grille in Islamorado. The food is awesome, along with the lovely views of the ocean. We made the mistake of going to the No Name Bar, on No Name Key (near the Winn-Dixie on Big Pine Key). Saw a male Key Deer on the road in NM Key. Speaking of the Winn-Dixie...Friday and Saturday early evening...they grill ribs outside, together with chicken wings. The food wasn't good, especially the conch Chowder, and it's rather pricey. The restaurant across the road from the sub division offers very good food, and a nice gift shop.
Richard and I have been visiting the Florida Keys for 39 years, and we still love it. This location is perfect.
The ONE NEGATIVE we had, was the fact we had to leave, and return to the real world. Plus I don't believe Squatters are welcomed in this part of Florida."

"My husband, daughter, son-in-law & me spent one great week in the Island Sunrise Resort's Cottage unit (the yellow house); I chose this unit because it had such character and we loved the fact that the door opens practically right onto the dock! Michelle was great to work with and was thoughtful enough to stop by the house and turn on some lights when she heard we'd been delayed and would be arriving after dark. The house was well equipped and cared for, the only things we missed and would recommend is some lighting out at the end of the dock and a bait/fish-appropriate freezer for Cottage-renters (I believe the newer home has one). The property is quiet and spacious, perfect for our laid back week. We had morning & evening visits by several Key Deer each day and a manatee visit at the dock on two different days was an exciting surprise! We also saw a squid alongside the dock one night and a lobster just hanging out with the many horseshoe crabs! All in all a great stay at a great home; this location is perfect. We hope to stay again!
Thanks again Michelle!!"

"The house was much nicer than the photo's shown on the website. The interior was very clean, comfortable, well appointed and felt like home. The beds were all new and comfortable, the downstairs bedroom provides privacy and is fully self contained with it's own A/C system. The exterior of the house was very well kept and maintained.
The storage room downstairs was useful to store fishing tackle, coolers and the additional "bait/fish" freezer came in handy as we caught lots of fish. The neighborhood was very quiet, yet close enough to the grocery store and local shops to provide easy re-supply for the essentials of any vacation, food, beer & ice. Although we ate at The No Name Pub and Boondocks alot! The pizza is always great at the Pub and the live music & food was always great at Boondocks. The canal was always clean and clear, with easy access to the gulf side bay area. Fuel and ramp facilities are available at Dolphin Marina on Little Torch Key just across the small bay heading into the Atlantic.
In about 4-5 minutes of idle time through the canal, you were in open water. The canal is deep and the approaching channel is deep enough for larger boats and the canal is wide enough to turn around without alot of hassel. We caught tarpon, snapper, sharks and barracuda in the bay within 5 minutes of the house. It is only a 15 minute ride into the Atlantic side around Little Palm Island resort. Plenty of fine bottom fishing (snapper & grouper) is available 1-mile offshore of that resort, or if you go 5 miles out, the trolling can heat up in a hurry. Bahia Honda bridge is about a 20-30 ride, depending upon conditions.
One of our favorite spots after returning to the house was to sit on the couches downstairs and enjoy a cold beer before cleaning fish. Although, sometimes the couch was almost too comfortable! Over the past 17 years of renting several homes in BPK, I must say this is one of the best I have rented. We will definitely keep it in mind for our next trip."
