  • Relax with nature

"This was a great, quiet spot to get away from it all, yet perfectly situated to take advantage of Key West, go snorkeling or lay on the beach in Bahia Honda, walk over to the No Name, or hang out with dolphins in Marathon. It's a beautiful view, especially at sunrise, and you will see deer out your front window every day. Although there was no grill for our visit, this property is generally well appointed and clean. There is a covered patio so you can sit outside without burning in the Florida sun. It's been a long time since I've seen that many stars or experienced such quiet - completely relaxing in every way! The property owner was extremely responsive at all junctures."

  • Excellent canal property. Clean, bright and roomy.

"This house is perfect for boaters/fisherman or for vacationers looking to relax. I enjoyed the view, the proximity to the ocean and the screened in porch. The rooms are a good size, the house is clean and bright - very comfortable. The landscaping is very nice, several palm tree varieties are on the property and bloom different times of the year. The carport under the house is nice when you feel like sitting in the shade also. The canal is nice and very clean. I recommend this property highly."

  • Beautiful, Clean, Convenient!

"We just returned from our third year at this home and we never have to find another place! This home is beautiful inside and out! They furnish everything which makes packing such a blessing! This house is stocked! Leave your beach towels at home , they've got them, iron, air mattress, plenty of sheets and blankets, hair dryer in each bathroom, brand new washer & Dryer, dish washer, dishes, pillows! We love the downstairs suite, it's perfect to put the older kids and leave the upstairs for a more quiet environment. There is a downstairs storage room with a deep freezer and extra refrigerator. If you're coming to the keys with your husband this will make his eyes light up, as that's a huge convenience! The owners are great. They are very accommodating too. We have been going to the keys for over ten years as a family and the last three have been the best of those! Thanks for everything Gary & Jenny. You guys have done a great job with the place. PS - The neighborhood key deer are an added bonus for entertainment!"

  • Very nice house at a great location in the Keys

"My wife and I spent the month of January at this house and we really enjoyed our stay. The house has plenty of room. From the pictures on the web, I thought we’d have less room than we actually had. Kitchen area, dining area and living room give you lots of space to live in. The outside is nice and clean and with a lot of vegetation all around the property. There is a deck in the back that gives you the possibility to sit outside. On the deck there is a nice BBQ to cook your favorite meals. The Keys and the people living here are for the most very laid back and relaxed, and this place is no different. People here are very nice and almost always say hello whether meeting you in the street, at the groceries or on the beach. We loved the location of the house. It’s about 45 minutes from Key West, and 10-15 minutes from Bahia Honda state park (the beach). If you go to the beach at Bahia Honda you’ll find that there are 3 beaches there. We recommend sandspur beach, but take a look at all of them, they are all very nice and you can always find a place where there is almost no wind (2 beaches on the south side, one on the north side). The owner include a Beach pass in the rental and this saves you 9.50$ per visit, so that’s a nice treat. We did a lot of kayaking and our favorite spot to go out from was on Kudjoe Key. It’s about 15-20 minutes from Big Pine Key. Go to the end of Blimp Road where you’ll find a free public boat ramp. From here you will have many choices for a nice outing in your kayak on the Gulf side of the island."
