  • Wow! Perfect Place at Perfect Location

"My husband and I were attending a family gathering in Key West. We did not want to pay expensive hotel prices and eat all our meals out. Cottage by the Sea was a wonderful choice. It was located close to Bahia Honda and a 30 minute drive to Key West. The cottage was exceptionally clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. There were many nice amenities & the kitchen was well supplied. The owners were always a phone call or e-mail away. The ocean view was spectacular. The grounds were well maintained and the security both friendly and professional. I enjoyed the saltwater swim area. The pool looked great for families. I will definitely return...hopefully for a month long stay and with a boat."

  • Perfect place for a large family or two couples

"We stayed for 9 nights. We were 2 couples. This is a gated, 24 hours security gate/guard community with excellent amenities: Its own snorkel area with shark screen and its own large marina !! hot tubs, salt/fresh water pools, tennis courts, amenities hall with ample books, ping-pong tables and enough room to sit and even its own convenience store and a pub/restaurant within the property. Ample kitchen items. We did need to stock up on toilet paper, paper napkins, shampoo and laundry detergent. There is no Internet connectivity inside the home, but the amenities hall (open till 11pm) has free WiFi and wired connection. There is nice back patio with new patio furniture. The walk in the cool evening breeze looking across to the ocean was nice. The community is right on the water and you can see the expanse of the waters sitting near the snorkel area. Also we saw some people fishing right off the walkway at the marina. Wish we had kayaks. But we had dives scheduled with the DiveInnnerspace folks and we absolutely recommend them for diving at the Looe Key. They are a small operation (no more than 6 divers on the boat) and the service is fantastic. We also drove to Key West (30 minutes drive one way accounting for slow Key West city streets) for day trip to the "Dry Tortugas" The "The Wharf" and the "Square grouper" are the closest mid-upper range restaurants we tried. The square grouper is the best food we had during our entire trip. The wharf is second. Wharf also remains open on more days and longer. We just did not have the time to explore the snorkel area, but based on what we have seen in the keys, I am sure it is has things to offer, especially if you have little ones or kids and you can teach them to snorkel or just frolic in the real ocean water in safe quiet environment. Overall very good stay."

  • One Week in Paradise

"The Glass House exceeded my expectations - it was the perfect tropical getaway. The House is sited directly on the waterfront, so that when you look out the windows it appears that you are floating on the ocean. Beautifully appointed, clean and well stocked, the Glass House provided everything that we needed to enjoy a luxury vacation. We swam in the heated pool almost daily and were able to easily indulge our enthusiasm for water sports, biking, and strolling through the palm-tree laden paths. We sat on the deck and watched brilliant sunsets every evening. We will definitely return to the Glass House for our next vacation."

  • Treasure in the Tropics!

"I couldn't believe how beautiful all of the Florida Keys were! It was our first time traveling throughout the keys and this Cudjoe Key house was just the home we were looking for. It was clean, comfortable and the location was so close to many amazing restaurants; Not to mention less then a 30 minute drive to Key West. I loved the porch/balcony and the screened in lanai. I cant wait to re visit this house and bring some guests with us!"
