  • Perfect Getaway

"Conch Key Landing is a peaceful, beautiful paradise. I have spent 26 years visiting Florida and never knew it could be so charming. This is a relaxing, unwinding, easy going place. However, shopping and good restaurants are just down the road. The apartment was clean, very comfortable, and had everything one might need to cook or barbecue. Joaney and Denise were fabulous hosts, helpful, fun and made us feel welcome. This is a romantic spot, with impressive views and breathtaking sunsets. We will be back!"

  • Excellent stay at Conch Key

"Communication with Randy was superb from the very beginning. He responded to every email and question within a few hours of my contact. When we arrived at Conch Key, everything was in place just as described. The cabin was very comfortable, and in an excellent location for day trips to Key Largo and Key West. The marina had necessities like beer and ice, and limited groceries; it wasn't even a 2 minute walk to get there from the cabin. The washer and dryer worked very well - very clean - don't let the rust on the top concern you. Bring your own laundry soap; Randy doesn't provide it and rightly so. I brought some pods with me and it was very convenient. I would also suggest insect repellent; the mosquitoes were vicious - especially in the laundry room! We spent a lot of time on the porch and dock. The marine life around the dock was amazing; we saw a manatee, nurse sharks, horseshoe crabs, parrot fish, and a ray just to name a few things. The sunsets couldn't be beat from the dock - it is the longest dock on that side of the key so there was unfettered views from the dock chairs. We would easily stay there again and highly recommend the Conch Key Treehouse."

  • Little Piece of Paradise

"My husband and I stayed 4 nights Oct. We loved just about everything about this little place. It was just my husband and I so without kids we needed very little, just enjoying time together was enough for us. The bed was super comfy, stayed on the right side of duplex - king size. Window units in home, but kept everything very comfortable! Everything was very clean and kitchen was stocked with just about everything we needed. A bonus was to find coffee in the cabinets when we ran out! Although no washer/dryer on this side of unit - but we knew this and were fine without for a few days. There is a waterhose outside (with full fish cleaning station) we used to rinse our gear on dock, very useful! We grilled lobster one night (one which we caught on our dives) on the deck and ate at the table outside, very nice at sunset! The views of this place are spectacular and highlight of our trip. Once morning we enjoyed watching a dolphin swim about 50-75 feet from deck towards the overpass. So fun! In the evening lots of marine life, 3 foot loggerhead turtle, green moray eel, nurse sharks, super large sting rays! I would like to mention that this place does not have dishwasher or much of a comfy couch (futon). But we were very content without these items. We spent most our time outside or diving. The owner is super easy to work with and highly recommend! During our stay we drove into Islamorada and dove with Key Dives. We also recommend this Dive shop, as they put a divemaster in the water with divers, which made us feel very safe. The seas were a bit choppy (5-6 feet) but the weather was beautiful and didn't detour us from diving! We dove some beautiful reef dives, Eagle wreck and felt safe the entire time - even considering the conditions, Mike was awesome walking us through proper descent and very patient. For lunch we ate at Midway Café and Mangrove Mike - delicious wraps! Dinner we ate Ma's Fish Camp in Islamorada and Barracuda's in Marathon, both very very good! This rental location was great as it was a nice in between point if you wanted to go into Islamorada or Marathon. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend to anyone looking for a little piece of paradise! Thank you for sharing with us, hope to stay again sometime soon."

  • Wonderful vacation

"Spent a very relaxing week on Conch Key. The house was clean and tidy, with everything we needed. We had no problem getting in and the security deposit was promptly returned. Very easy and pleasant to deal with Catherine. Our only problem was that we couldn't get the Wifi to work; there was internet just not Wifi. Besides that it was great, my 85 yr old mother could sit outside on the covered porch and watch the fishing boats, birds, manatees and fish that came by. The neighbors across the canal rented us a boat for the day, so we saw a beautiful Keys sunset from the water. Swam in the canal every afternoon.... not sure that would be possible during Lobster season though. Couldn't believe how much we enjoyed the canal, having been beach people all our lives. We hope to return soon."

Conch Key Travel Tips

Enjoy the Essence of the Ocean in Conch Key House Rentals

One of the most enduring symbols of the ocean is the conch itself. Hold the shell up to your ear and you will hear the ocean, no matter where you are. When staying in Conch Key beach rentals, however, you will be able to hear the soothing roll of the ocean every minute of the day and you will be able to let the sound lull you to sleep at night. Many people who have visited the small community of Conch Key say that the key has a lovely old-fashioned sense of what the keys used to be like. There is plenty to do in the area. Check out the Indian Key State Historical Site or take the kids to the Florida Keys Children's Museum.

Stay Connected...Or Not

Many Conch Key House Rentals come with Internet access, many of them with wi-fi. This can be very useful for people who like to get away but still need to stay in touch. Need to join a webinar one day while you are on vacation? Or do you simply prefer to get your news from select online sources? No problem. While staying in Conch Key beach rentals you can also stay connected. Or, for those of you who prefer to remain undisturbed and disconnected during vacation, simply ask to have the Internet disabled for the duration of your stay.

Live Like a Local

While staying in Marathon vacation rentals you can live like a local instead of living like a tourist. Sure, dinners out and concierge service are nice for a while, but those who stay in Conch Key house rentals can actually feel what it is like to live the luxurious Florida Keys lifestyle, even if only for a brief time.
