  • Excellent stay at Conch Key

"Communication with Randy was superb from the very beginning. He responded to every email and question within a few hours of my contact. When we arrived at Conch Key, everything was in place just as described. The cabin was very comfortable, and in an excellent location for day trips to Key Largo and Key West. The marina had necessities like beer and ice, and limited groceries; it wasn't even a 2 minute walk to get there from the cabin. The washer and dryer worked very well - very clean - don't let the rust on the top concern you. Bring your own laundry soap; Randy doesn't provide it and rightly so. I brought some pods with me and it was very convenient. I would also suggest insect repellent; the mosquitoes were vicious - especially in the laundry room! We spent a lot of time on the porch and dock. The marine life around the dock was amazing; we saw a manatee, nurse sharks, horseshoe crabs, parrot fish, and a ray just to name a few things. The sunsets couldn't be beat from the dock - it is the longest dock on that side of the key so there was unfettered views from the dock chairs. We would easily stay there again and highly recommend the Conch Key Treehouse."

  • PERFECT!

"There isn't enough great things to say about this place. We loved the location, the views, sunrises/sunsets, the grounds (or lack there of :)), EVERYTHING! The sound of the ocean splashing up on the rocks below the house is so soothing for the soul. We can't wait to go back, again & again!"

  • Wonderful vacation

"Spent a very relaxing week on Conch Key. The house was clean and tidy, with everything we needed. We had no problem getting in and the security deposit was promptly returned. Very easy and pleasant to deal with Catherine. Our only problem was that we couldn't get the Wifi to work; there was internet just not Wifi. Besides that it was great, my 85 yr old mother could sit outside on the covered porch and watch the fishing boats, birds, manatees and fish that came by. The neighbors across the canal rented us a boat for the day, so we saw a beautiful Keys sunset from the water. Swam in the canal every afternoon.... not sure that would be possible during Lobster season though. Couldn't believe how much we enjoyed the canal, having been beach people all our lives. We hope to return soon."

  • Perfect Place in Paradise

"Me and my fiancé found this to be the perfect place for us on our first trip to the Keys. We have so many wonderful memories from our trip and staying at Susie's quaint little cottage was a big part of it. The pictures you see are exactly what you get and its beautiful. We cooked and grilled most of our meals from the cottage and the kitchen is well stocked with what you need to do so. There's a small store within walking distance and has just about anything you need and a deli inside. We really enjoyed the dock at the cottage and being able to put our kayaks in right there and paddle out. Left them on the dock at night without fear of them being stolen. There's so much sea life you can see at the dock alone. We saw logger head turtles, a small barracuda and all kinds of species of fish living right under or by the dock. Manatees swim by the dock daily and I was able to pet one that came right up to the dock. Nurse sharks are frequent too and at varies sizes. We actually caught two small ones on our fishing poles that we put back. Caught plenty of Blue Striped Grunt that were the perfect keeping size and I used frozen shrimp and squid that are available at the small store. There's a small table and fresh water hose at the dock so you can clean you fresh catch. Sunrises and Sunsets are spectacular from the dock. There's a washer/dryer available and they work perfectly. We never needed Susie at any time during our stay but felt comfortable knowing she would be available quickly if needed. We look forward to our next trip soon and would love to stay at Susie's cottage again. Thanks again Susie!"

Conch Key Travel Tips

Enjoy the Essence of the Ocean in Conch Key House Rentals

One of the most enduring symbols of the ocean is the conch itself. Hold the shell up to your ear and you will hear the ocean, no matter where you are. When staying in Conch Key beach rentals, however, you will be able to hear the soothing roll of the ocean every minute of the day and you will be able to let the sound lull you to sleep at night. Many people who have visited the small community of Conch Key say that the key has a lovely old-fashioned sense of what the keys used to be like. There is plenty to do in the area. Check out the Indian Key State Historical Site or take the kids to the Florida Keys Children's Museum.

Stay Connected...Or Not

Many Conch Key House Rentals come with Internet access, many of them with wi-fi. This can be very useful for people who like to get away but still need to stay in touch. Need to join a webinar one day while you are on vacation? Or do you simply prefer to get your news from select online sources? No problem. While staying in Conch Key beach rentals you can also stay connected. Or, for those of you who prefer to remain undisturbed and disconnected during vacation, simply ask to have the Internet disabled for the duration of your stay.

Live Like a Local

While staying in Marathon vacation rentals you can live like a local instead of living like a tourist. Sure, dinners out and concierge service are nice for a while, but those who stay in Conch Key house rentals can actually feel what it is like to live the luxurious Florida Keys lifestyle, even if only for a brief time.
