"There were 12 of us staying at this property and it worked out perfect! Beautiful view, beautiful house (minus the stairs if you sleep on the top floor) lol.. Everyone had a wonderful time. I can't say enough about the customer service Shawn had, he is amazing. Centrally located for the rest of the islands! The fish off the dock were always beautiful to look at and we even caught and released a few. If you rented a boat to dock there you MUST be an experienced boater. We had 2 USGA licensed captains with us thank goodness. The current rips through Vaca Cut and it can get ugly. Overall it was a very memorable 1st trip to the keys!! We will never forget it!! Highly Reccomend this place!!!!"

"My family (2 kids and I) along with 2 other couples shared this house. We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation. The property is very private and sits right on the bay. My son and brother caught many fish right in the backyard. The pool was wonderful---and kept very clean. The house is situated within walking distance of a Walgreens and Dollar Store. The grocery store is only a few minutes car ride. Also, Sombrero Beach is just 8 minutes away by car. Rich (the property manager) was very responsive to the few problems we encountered at the house. I would definitely stay at this place again!"

"This was our second trip to the keys but our first time renting Pretty Joe Rock. We loved it so much that I can't imagine staying anywhere else for future visits to the Keys. This was a perfect location a private island that wasn't too far from shore so we could easily boat over to the private dock, get into our car and drive off to dinner or where ever we went for the day. Loved that kayaks were provided for rental use and really enjoyed just kayaking in the bay. The kids enjoyed snorkeling around the island looking for lobsters. The island even had a juvenile sea turtle that I watched swimming every morning. I also enjoyed trying to spot the island iguana (still not sure if there was more than one but there is at least one fairly big one). Great view of the sunrise from the boat dock deck sitting on the bench swing and an even better view of the sunset from the deck with lounge chairs. Basically trying to convey that if you want a great rental that is in itself a vacation this is it."

"The condo suited our needs very well. The layout is great as the living area is very open and has a wonderful full wall of glass to see the palm trees swaying in the breeze next to the ocean. The master bedroom provides the feel of retreating for the evening as the décor differs from then living area plus the master bath is well done. The kayak and bikes are a plus as we did not have the added expense nor did we have to be tied down to a specific day for the rental. Morning coffee with fruit and bagels was great every day on the patio. The view is so good that we never had the impulse to turn the TV on. This is a good location to unwind.
I would recommend eating at Sparky’s on Sadowski (5 minutes away) as the food is good and the local marina atmosphere is great. Savanah’s Sweets (5-10 minutes away) is a great place to get desert as it is a cute place with good eats and I strongly suggest the Pina Colada sundae (non-alcoholic). Spirit snorkeling is a good outfit for going to Sombrero reef. Fishing is good at Sombrero beach and snorkeling has a lot of fish, but the water clarity is not as good as going to Sombrero reef (this is true of all beach access snorkeling).
Todd and Jamie are professional, courteous and attentive people. We use VRBO all the time for our vacations and they have been the best as per the aforementioned and the property being as presented in the listing.
Thanks Todd & Jamie for helping us have a great vacation."
