"Thank you Bob and Janet for allowing us to rent your condo. It was everything that it was described to be an more, very clean very spacious and very organized. Love the location love the Boatdock the pool was very clean the surrounding grounds were very well cared for. For a person with a boat looking boat dockage in a condo this place was very accommodating. The trailer parking that you arranged for us with the business in front of the condos was very nice and had no issues or problems with parking the trailer where you advised us to. We had a lot of fun watching the sharks fish Tarpon stingrays and other marine life off of the end of the dock as well as trying to catch some of those. Being that close to Vaca Cut was very very nice and the waters are so pretty in that area thanks again we really enjoy this stay and we will be back in touch when we come back to the Florida Keys."

"Our family of 4, including 2 college age children, spent 2 wonderful weeks over the Christmas Holiday at White Sands. We all absolutely loved it!
We had never vacationed in the Florida Keys and didn't know for sure if we would like not having the typical beach scene. But, being outdoorsy type people who enjoy kayaking, fishing and boating, White Sands was a perfect fit for us. There are 4 kayaks at the home that we used to kayak over to the mangrove coves just around the corner to the left off of the dock. We caught snappers that we fixed for lunch almost on a daily basis. In the mangrove cove, we also saw several sharks, sting rays, tarpons, iguanas and tons of different kinds of birds. Plus, the kayaks are great to take out and get just past the tree/coast line and watch the sunset. AMAZING! One night while watching the sunset, a huge sea turtle swam up to us.
The other outside amenities are equally as pleasing. The pool was heated and was a great way to spend afternoons around. The hammock was fought over daily as to who would be taking their afternoon nap in it. Plus, the deck was our go to spot for breakfast and also evening wine down time. Also, many great moments were spent hanging out or fishing off of the dock. It's incredible the amount of fish and variety of fish that are around the dock. We saw spotted rays, barracudas, puffer fish, lobsters and sharks from the dock. Plus, you can't beat the afternoon sun on the dock.
Inside was just as perfect. The kitchen is designed to allow multiple cooks prepping at once with plenty of stocked cooking equipment. The view from the dining room table was unbeatable. And, the bed in the master bedroom was more comfortable than our own at home beside the spa like bathroom.
We have already booked it for next year and can't wait to go back!"

"We have stayed in Marathon many times over the years and this is definitely our favorite condo/location. We have actually stayed in one of these condos before and were excited to see this one available. The space is fabulous. Plenty of room, private and shared areas are all spacious, and the enclosed patio is also huge. Lots of towels and sheets - no washcloths though, so bring your own or the little shower scrubbies :-) Location can't be beat for boating/diving/lobstering/eating/shopping etc. This little place called Burdines is not far and has the BEST fresh fish sandwiches you will ever want to eat and I don't even eat fish sandwiches - or I had never been tempted to do so before anyway. There were a couple of small things that needed repair and the owner was very responsive. She is very helpful and willing to communicate with the renters. There was no internet, which surprised us because 'everyone' has internet, right? But this is more of a private condo, not a hotel or timeshare so that shouldn't be expected anyway. We stayed so busy that we didn't really use the internet or TV much. The owner said she will be getting internet access there in the future. Washer/drier is a huge benefit when out swimming and boating every day as is the full kitchen. The Hyatt hotel pools are accessible and very nice although I miss the old HUGE pool that used to be there before the Hyatt was built there. We will definitely be returning and will rent this condo again in the future rather than even another one in the same building simply because of the owner's willingness to be involved and her desire for tenants to have a great time there. I would definitely recommend this rental!"
