  • Rain, rain go away!

"First of all, I want to say that this place is a dream! I couldn't have asked for a more well set up house with everything you could possible need. It is so comfortable and what a beautiful view, so private with the bay just steps away. We only had one problem with our trip and that was the weather. We got here Saturday and it was beautiful Sunday but then it rained the rest of the week. The mornings were somewhat overcast so we did get some kayaking in which was wonderful. There are many canals with mangroves where you can see lots of wildlife. On our first day here, we had some visitors in the hot tub. They were giant iguana's that would come very close and hope to be fed. We did not feed them because they are quite aggressive but beautiful. On Monday we decided to go snorkeling. Wrong idea that day! We didn't realize that the bad weather had caused the ocean to be pretty rocky. We all suffered because of that and were all sea sick. I tell you we couldn't catch a break. The captain said that for the last 10 days, it was smooth as glass. Tuesday we went to Key West and saw Ernest Hemingway's house, that was great and then we walked around town in the rain and window shopped. Wednesday we went down to Sombrero Beach and snorkeled right off the beach, it was fantastic! Of course by noon, the rain chased us home. There are so many other things you can do down here also, renting bikes, jet ski's, the food is great too! We found a restaurant called Keys Fisheries that has the best Lobster Reuben I've ever had. We have one more day and it's gonna rain, oh well at least we didn't get sunburned. We still have had a very relaxing time and I would do it again anytime!"

  • Amazing Stay & Vacation

"Our vacation stay was amazing. This was our first time renting a vacation home and I was a little hesitant from day one. But after talking to Shery on the phone and later on meeting her, I was relieved. She was more than informative, welcoming, and accommodating. All of the information she provided regarding the home, the location, the neighborhood and the launching of our boat was perfect and accurate. When we arrived, the house was immaculate, clean and very accommodating. We had everything we needed. Her husband Jay was very nice and gave us tips on where to go and the places to fish from. But if you want a real fishing experience, charter him and he will take you to the real deal. You will have an amazing time with incredible nice folks whose main job is to facilitate and make your vacation stay all worth while. We will visit again shortly and we will look for Shery and Jay to rent from. I recommend them 100%. Thank you Shery and Jay for such wonderful time."
