"We stayed here three months. A great writing retreat with easy access to colleagues at the U of Florida. The large fenced backyard with spreading live oaks was relaxing and safe for little kid visits. The house was spacious and very comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely -- perfect for daily walks and bike rides. Friendly, helpful neighbors made us feel at home. A short walk or 5 minute drive will get you to the wonderful Fresh Market with its ever-changing array of desserts and fresh sushi, an authentic French bakery, the all-purpose Publix grocery, and an intriguing used book store. We took side trips to the Gulf (Cedar Key), St. Augustine, Manatee Springs, and a variety of state parts where we encountered eagles, wild horses and baby alligators. Disneyworld is a day-trip away. Gainesville weather in January and February can be surprisingly cool, even cold, but the house was well heated and always comfortable."

"Susannah's condos are a great place to stay: clean, renovated, comfortable, with a great location. Susannah is responsive and accommodating, and I can recommend her properties without hesitation. If I am every back in town, I will certainly return!"

"This rental has the best fishing from a dock you could possibly want. We caught red fish, black drum, two different types of shark, sheephead, eel, stingrays, and catfish. The neighbor Bob made us feel welcome and gave us tips on fishing and even offered to give us fish, anyone would be lucky to have him as a neighbor. Got to experience the amazing sunset that words can not describe and even got to see manatees a few feet from the dock and dolphins playing. Suggestions of things to do go to St. George Island (absolutely beautiful), take the boat ride and swim in the springs at Wakulla Springs Park, and go see the Gulf Specimen Marine Lab."

"We had a great time with our week stay on Live Oak Island. It just happened to be wet all week but it was very relaxing and you couldn't beat the views over the bay and grassy areas from the large deck and even from inside the home, especially at the dining room table. The home was well taken care of and very comfortable. Hope to return soon, want to see those wonderful sunsets that others have reported."
