"We come to Steinhatchee every year for the wonderful scalloping season! We were welcomed by a clean, nicely decorated home with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids loved the comfortable couch and bunk beds. The dock and screen room was exactly what we needed to store the boat and relax in the evenings. The large yard gave us ample space to store the trailer we brought and the kids could play. It was a great space that accommodated our 2 families nicely!"

"We loved it. It was quite very roomy, very clean. My dad fished every day and we all made friends with a squirrel and a raccoon. The bids where amazing to watch. The town was very cute nice and layed back. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting to just set back and enjoy nature and take it easy for awhile. This home was layed out just right for us. It has every thing you need already there. Just bring your favorite pillow."

"I stayed here with family (and two dogs) for several days over the Independence Day weekend. We were very pleased with the property. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed, as described. There was no shortage of towels and sheets, and I equipped the sofa with the "pet sheet" Cindy provided in the closet.
The washer and dryer amenity was essential and appreciated, since we packed light and then went through our clothes due to fishing and perspiring. :) So we made good use of the laundry room.
As for the other basics, the furnishings and bedding was all of high quality. Having a computer and printer was great because we needed to purchase fishing licenses online and print them out. My only suggestion would be to add some barbeque tools and a grill brush. They were the only items that seemed to be missing.
The balcony is my favorite feature of the property. Cindy's idea to equip the balcony with bar height furniture was brilliant. The ceiling fan keeps the "no see ums" (biting gnats) at bay for the most part (do bring "Off!" spray for mornings and evenings). It was a perfect vacation moment as we sat on the balcony, watched the bird life in the marsh, my dad strummed his guitar as we enjoyed cold ones."

"My cousins and I just spent a wonderful, relaxing weekend at the pink house. Loved the porch and spent a lot of time out there just watching the water, birds, dolphins, sunrises and sunsets. Once we were on island time the rest of the world just drifted away. I loved the open downstairs making it possible to visit and watch the sunset while you are preparing supper. As for an earlier comment someone made about the stove...we had no problem with it. We cooked fabulous meals on it twice a day even with the crack. I did need some remedial help figuring out how to make the shower work :-). We enjoyed it so much we are thinking about going back next year."
