"Just returned from a ladies' weekend getaway to Cedar Key. Wow! The pictures do NOT do this cozy cottage justice. The views are spectacular. We watched bald eagles, jumping fish, and multiple types of wading birds from the deck. We enjoyed stargazing after dark. You can't see stars like that much anymore. We had an unexpected heat wave, so couldn't use the fireplace...maybe next time! Everything was in working condition, clean and VERY comfortable. We slept great! Spend a late afternoon sunset checking out Cedar Key, enjoying drinks, snacks and chatting with the locals before heading back to our treehouse to relax and cook our dinner on the grill. I hesitate to recommend this fabulous place because I don't want people booking it up if I want to go back! Seriously, it was one of my best HomeAway experiences..."

"We had a wonderful stay here! The house was exactly as described, and located in a unique resort setting with petting zoo, duck pond, koi pond, chapel, gift shop, boat docks and huge swimming pool. We had fun fishing and getting scallops! The owner was professional and available for any questions or needs."

"We had a group of 5 adults and 2 children, and this house was the perfect size for us. The kitchen and bathrooms are absolutely beautiful!
The kids loved the petting zoo and playground, as well as the pool. We were a 30-minute boat ride from the gulf, and a 20-minute drive to Fanning Springs for a dip in the natural springs and a walk/bike on the trails.
I would say the only negative, given the fact that it was hot spring weather, was that the porch was not screened in. Bring citronella!"

"There is so much wonderful about this place that it's hard to know where to begin. The cottage is meticulous in its charm and appointments. For a small cottage, it felt grand with everything it includes and cozy at the same time with the porch swing, the old iron gate and the fairy lights around the porch and grand old oak. The bedroom feels like tree house!
The location is wonderful too. We had been told to rent a golf cart, but didn't get one in time. No worries! It's a quick, easy walk to just about everything. We wandered all over Dock Street, down town, along the shore and even did parts of the historical walking tour. Everyone we encountered was friendly and neighborly.
That applies to Ada too. She's a wonderful hostess! We'll definitely be back again!"
