"We have found a gem that we will probably use again and again. We visited our son; daughter-in-law and grandchildren celebrating the baptism of our new granddaughter. This place was absolutely perfect for our visit. Plenty of room for all and the vintage character creates a very relaxing atmosphere. Thanks so much for the memories!"

  • If you want great hiking and biking, and great inexpensive seafood

"this is the place. This is a very nice cottage. It is in a residential area along Fl 363 (Woodville Hwy) but it is surrounded by woods so you feel as if you're in the middle of a forest. The house is very clean, well stocked, and comfortable, and the owners live about 6 miles away and are very responsive. Groceries can be found in Woodville, a ten-minute drive. And they take dogs. We often go to Florida in winter (Sanibel, Sarasota, etc.) but being from Kentucky, we wanted a shorter drive. Ditto for our daughter and grandkids who came over from North Carolina. At age 71, we also wanted a place with close proximity to easy, wooded hiking trails. This cottage is about a ten-minute drive from wonderful trails in the Wakulla State Forest and the Wakulla Springs State Park (which also has a nice boat trip along the Wakulla River). Not to be missed as well is the hike through the Leon Sinks Forest (many sinkholes) located about 30 minutes away and the St, Mark's State Park( lots of waterfowl). Our daughter and granddaughter are bikers and the cottage is a five-minute drive from the 16-mile, paved St. Mark's bike trail. Excellent restaurants include Savannah (ten-minute drive) which has a great breakfast buffet daily and dinner buffets Thurs-Sat; Seineyards in Woodville; and Kast-Net. Both are about 10 minute drives. Wonderful seafood and inexpensive. We also drove to Panacea and had a good seafood meal at Poseys. Wakulla Springs State Park has a good restaurant. It is more elegant and expensive. All in all, very relaxing. Comfortable cottage. Great hikes and seafood. And our daughter and grandkids loved it as well."

  • Great time

"Had only a couple of days off but Sunset Therapy was everything it proclaimed to be. Very relaxing time. Fished off the dock and caught a variety of fish from red fish, black drum, Spanish mackerel, sail catfish and saw a manatee. King bed was very comfortable. A couple of dirty frying pans. I would recommend this property and hope to enjoy it again soon."

  • Wonderful Place to Stay in Tallahassee

"We were planning a visit to Tallahassee to visit our daughter who had just moved there. It was FSU vs UF football weekend and hotel prices were outrageous. We decided to look on VRBO and found this property and decided to have the four of stay here for Thanksgiving. This was a great choice. The property is quiet, peaceful, on a lovely river, very well appointed, and only 25 minutes from the city. Floyd and Carolyn were easy to communicate with and we enjoyed meeting Floyd upon our arrival. Everything was in great order. Their description of things to do and places to eat is very humorous and very helpful. Don't miss the Seinyard Seafood Restaurant. They also introduced us to Woody and Kathy who give kayak tours on the river and that was thoroughly enjoyable and we would highly recommend this trip. Woody and Kathy were great fun to be with and great guides. If you are looking for a relaxing, well equipped place to stay for four, near but outside the city, this is a great place. There is a lot to do in the area and make certain you read Floyd and Carolyn's recommendations."
