  • Wonderful, quiet getaway...

"My husband surprised me with this getaway and I was a little put out that it was in the woods (I'm not really woodsy) but I ended up having a marvelous time, just the two of us and our two dogs. We enjoyed the fully outfitted house (felt like you were borrowing a family member's house), we cooked in every night and took walks up the clay/sand roads. The dogs enjoyed sitting out on their beds on the large airy patio, watching deer and sand hill cranes go by. It's so quiet up there, just the wind in the trees and the crows crying. I enjoyed the fact that I could work on my website (I needed no distractions from work and I got it!). It's DSL internet so it's not the fastest but it was perfectly adequate. There were no premium channels on the DISH tvs but tons of dvds to watch. We stayed in the Master bedroom and the ENORMOUS bathroom is designed for someone in a wheel chair (roll in shower) which I thought would be great for someone in need of that. We ventured out to the local groceries...very old fashioned (lots of pig knuckles - don't expect too much organic, etc.)...and the farm stands. We had only one meal out at Dianne's old fashioned BBQ. EXCELLENT! It's country out there and a perfect place to escape."

  • Birthday Weekend

"Very much enjoyed our weekend stay. Location was perfect. Walking distance to everything! We visited during the annual Art Festival and were pleasantly surprise that the crowds weren't over whelming. The house has lots of charm and the updated bathroom is great. We would definitely rent again! Thank you so much."

  • FSU Graduation Stay

"The Cherry Lake home provided the perfect setting for our family gathering after my daughter's graduation from FSU. From plenty of accommodations for all the family to great photo opportunities and space for everyone to relax, I couldn't have asked for anything more. Everyone who stayed loved it, my 10 year old niece to my 75 year old in laws! My husband and I discussed it and although we have no more kids graduating, we think this would be the perfect spot for a couples retreat with our boat. We'll be back!!!"

North Florida Vacation Rentals Provide Plenty of Fun

Popular during the winter with snowbirds and retirees, the area has plenty to see and do and most places are within a 90-minute pleasant drive of either coast.
