  • Peaceful Place

"Spent a week at cottage, completely set up and ready to go. If your looking for some peace and quiet, this would be a nice place to rent. Close to Gainesville, Fl for things to do. The hostess is kind and warm and made me feel welcome and allowed me to bring my dog. Affordable and quaint, I have already recommended to other friends looking for a quiet out of the way place to relax. Nobody should regret their decision to choose this wonderful home for whatever reason it would be. Enjoy, and don't forget to say hello to the neighbor on the right, he is a Christian gem. Thanks Mary for allowing me to rent your home, I will never forget my heavenly time there!"

  • Perfect place to enjoy Cedar Key

"We found Cedar Key by searching for gulf towns that are dog friendly, and vrbo.com's search engine made finding Nestled In Time easy! The cottage is clean, quiet, we'll stocked, and perfectly located on CK--not too close to the touristy strip, but still within walking distance. The little market a few blocks away had everything to whip up breakfast, the island had great restaurants, our old dog was welcomed everywhere, it was wonderful. I think his favorite part was swimming out on Atsena Otie Key and chasing the lizards in the garden :) Thank you!"

  • A Charming Taste of Old Florida

"If the glitz of Naples or Clearwater wears thin, and you hanker to experience Florida before condos took it over, then Cedar Key and Charpia Cottage are your antidote. A delightful early 1900's tin-roof clapboard cottage that is fully updated with A/C and modern applicances. The photos - accurate as they are - don't convey the delight of your morning coffee or afternoon libation from the screened porch overlooking the bay, dolphins swimming past. The bedrooms are comfortable, the bathroom and kitchen are spotless, and the living room reflects a whimsical beach cottage ambiance. All this in easy walking distance from shops, good restaurants, and a fine bakery. Wish we'd stayed longer!"

  • Vacation 2014, Roanoke, Texas

"Couldn't have been happier. Loved crabbing off the dock. Short walk to town for kayak rental or to buy fresh clams off the boat. Church was close by. Visiting nearby museums & checking out nature trails was fun. Accomodations were great for the price; kitchen had every untensil, and the view across the bay & into the Gulf was beautiful. I'm ready to go again. Thanks, Jeanie!"
