  • The most relaxing vacation we have ever taken

"This house is so cute and very well stocked with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The back porch with swing, table & chairs and the private dock were our favorite places. We took our bikes and rode all over the quaint town of Cedar Key. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Don't fail to eat the clam chowder at Tony's . . .the best I've ever had! Cool shops in the small downtown area. You can easily walk to anything you want to do. I highly recommend this property for a relaxed, laid back time with your family or friends."

  • Grimesland, NC

"We had a great time! Plenty of room for a family of 6 and the beds are very comfortable. The den is set up well for relaxing after a day swimming in the springs. We saw lots of wildlife every day, including turkeys, hawks, cottontails, squirrels and even gopher tortoises. The frog chorus at night was impressive! Fishing was slow due to the river being so high but we had plenty of other stuff to do. The house has everything you need for a nice relaxing stay, and lots of extras that make sense when you get there. Since we did not know the area, we would have benefited from wifi so we could search for park closings and such, but then the kids would have had to be on you tube all the time. The swing in the yard is really , really cool! One more thing, this location is very close to many of the springs, about 30 minutes to Ichetucknee and Ginnie and fifteen minutes from the smaller ones. Thanks again!"

  • Our Absolute Favorite Get-Away

"Where to even begin to describe this beautiful, tucked away, clean, immaculately decorated little bungalow on a quiet, tranquil river. We were blown away the minute we walked in the doors. The Hideaway was stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay, to completely relax. The beds were comfy-cozy, and there was not a single speck of dirt or dust in the entire house. Freda is absolutely lovely, accommodating, welcoming, and the best hostess we could have asked for, for our quick manatee snorkel. We absolutely can't wait to make many, many trips back, to swim in the lagoon, kayak down the river, sit on the dock and drink coffee, and take deep breaths. Thank you, Freda, for the best weekend we've had in a very long time!"

  • Peace & Quiet

"There are no words for how much we enjoyed our lil family get away in Cedar Key and our stay in Nestled in Time. The house had EVERYTHING you could possibly need and then some. I cooked breakfast every day that we were there and I was suprised how stocked the kitchen was. I recommend the lil farmers market by the Chevron for fruits and veggies and eggs. The lil store in town has everything else you can need. Steamers is awesome and try to get the lil poarch views...amazing. We'll be back in June and we're counting down the days."
