"My wife and I spent a week in Gainesville and wanted to avoid the hotel scene where you never feel at home. We found the Summit House condos on line and decided to give it a try. The price for a week was much cheaper than a hotel and the experience was delightful. Immediately after arrival the owner called us to make sure we arrived safely and to ask if we needed anything. The condos are spacious, extremely clean and have everything you could ever need in terms of dishes, silverware, cleaning supplies, large screen tv and very comfortable furniture. There are two swimming pools on the property for swimming and sun bathing. The condos are very close to the University of Florida campus so you can walk anywhere and avoid the hassle of trying to find a parking spot. They are also very close to the hospitals, numerous restaurants, taverns and shopping areas. The location is just ideal for almost anything you could want to do around Gainesville. If you need a safe, quiet, comfortable, spacious condo for a weekend, week or month, you will be very satisfied with the Summit House condos."Guest: Michael Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 24, 2014View listing
"We rented this house for the weekend. Located at the tip of St. Marks Wildlife reserve makes this secluded. Its in a quaint village with waving neighbors and people enjoying the FL sunshine. The house is exactly as pictured, clean, nice furnishings, plenty of room, great view of the canal and surroundings. We were able to watch a dolphin hunt right out front. Good hiking and sightseeing nearby. We used the scope to watch the rising moon. We cooked our own meals with a nicely equipped kitchen. My only complaint, only one, is the mattress could use an upgrade, otherwise an awesome house."Guest: Jason Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 16, 2014View listing

The owner is wonderful. The view both at sunrise and sunset is to die for. Would return anytime."Guest: Sandra Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 29, 2014View listing
