"Our family of four had the privilege of staying in this wonderful house for our yearly vacation. First of all, we were delighted when we walked into the house for the first time. It is beautifully decorated by the owner, a professional interior designer. The photographs online do not do justice to this property. What a great layout! The house was so well equipped with paper products, dish detergent, even coffee...everything to get us started. Sheryl was calling as soon as we arrived to make sure everything was okay. I had spoken with her several times before and she could not have been more helpful. Our two children, a five year old daughter and eight year old son, especially loved the pool (which was serviced twice while there) and all the pool and beach toys, especially the boogie boards for him. My son really enjoyed basketball at Drummond Park and the playground at Aury Island, especially the large tree for climbing. Amelia Island Plantation is a very safe and secure paradise for families. We had lots of fun riding the bikes together on the great bike trails. My husband and I especially enjoyed the beautiful natural scenery while walking these trails. The kids each had a bedroom and bath to themselves. New flat screen TVs in all bedrooms, one in the living room and one in the study made everybody happy!! The golf cart was really fun getting to the beach and back with all our stuff and for riding to the Village. Cooking in the kitchen which had everything we needed was a pleasure, and I don't even like to cook! My husband and I would like to stay at this relaxing house in the fall for a couples' get away. I have been to Amelia many times and fall is my favorite time of year. It is by far the best house we've ever stayed in! So many things to enjoy in this beautiful place we were not able to do it all. Our family will just have to come back to this great house for sure!"Guest: Angel Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 11, 2014View listing
"During our weekend stay we saw 2 absolutely spectacular sunrises from the deck of this wonderful condo. It was clean and well appointed with great TVs, comfortable beds, and modern decor. The rooms were big, and the bunk beds upstairs were a big hit with our 2 boys! The living and dining space were quite roomy and were way more than adequate for our group of 5. Did I mention the view?! Amelia Island has a wonderfully slow pace of life, and the beaches are wonderful for families. We absolutely loved this place and can't wait to go back."Guest: Paul P. "This was our fourth trip to Amelia and our second time staying at 2071 Beachwood. This condo is truly a gem. We previously stayed at a higher priced condo that was nowhere near as comfortable or clean as this. And you can barely get a hotel room for the price of this condo! This is just the spot where I want to come and relax after a day at the beach. Tasteful, comfortable furnishings, plenty of TVs, games, books, washer/dryer, beach chairs, toys, umbrella. Absolutely everything you need. Robin and Helen are a pleasure to work with and have really thought of everything. The resort is nice too. Although we haven't shopped or dined at any of the Omni offerings (we like to go into town in the evenings) we did take advantage of the lovely running / biking trail (with access right in front of the condo!). We're already planning next year's trip and plan to stay longer this time! You can't beat 2071 Beachwood."Guest: Marty Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 19, 2014View listing
"This was a very nice place for us and our 5 year old daughter. She loved the nature center and mini golf which is walking distance from the condo, as well as coffee and breakfast (or lunch) place for the adults. Beach is right across the street, about 2 min walking. Condo was very clean and comfortable."Guest: From Atlanta Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 30, 2014View listing
