"Thank you Peggy! We had a fantastic 2 weeks of much needed relaxation. Your condo is so clean and comfortable we felt right at home. We love the beach and also downtown Fernandina Beach. We definitely will stay here again. It was a pleasure meeting you.

"This is a nice modest condo in a very quiet community. The walk to the beach would be too far for small children. It is shorter if you take the private pathway but it is just that, a pathway. We had no problems at the condo we rented scooters for the week and rode them all over the island. This was our 1st trip to Amelia island. It is a very quiet beach town. It was nice to have the available chairs to carry to the beach. It was nice to have the board games for the rainy times which for us unfortunately was a part of daily life. The waves are fun at the beach and lots of shells to comb through. The state park is beautiful and we enjoyed our tour of the fort. The kitchen was wonderful. I loved the set up of this condo and the screened porch is a huge bonus!!! This is where board games were played. The pizza place in the publix shopping center has the best pizza! And the ice-cream store next door was great and convenient. Do not miss out on Nana Teresa's bakery (I believe that is right) in the historic area, the best pastries ever! The historic district is a fun visit. Amelia island is very close to great shopping in Jacksonville as well! Thanks a billion!"

"We had a great stay. Place has been well maintained. It's nicely furnished, clean, and everything worked properly. There were no surprises. Owner gave us time to settle in, and then came down to make sure everything was satisfactory. This set the mood for a great vacation. Sliding door to side deck is convenient to take dog out. Only one house away from beach. And only one block from Main Beach park, Putt-putt, Skateboardboard park, and Sandy Bottoms restaurant. Near Ft Clinch park entrance, and near historic downtown with all restaurants. I appreciate that the house did not have an excessive amount of signs telling you what you must do or must not do. Owners are well established in the community and were very considerate hosts during our stay. It didn't pose a problem, but I might say the master bed was too soft because of the 3" foam pad, but my wife like it. This was our 3rd stay at Fernandina beach, and all accommodations have been to our liking."

"From the moment we walked into the duplex until the moment we last locked the door, we absolutely loved our stay here. It was exactly as advertised, if not better! The kids loved the sand and surf and we loved relaxing right outside the duplex under our canopy tent. Our 4 year old and 1 year old loved the low-side sand bar that appeared every afternoon. He thought it was so cool to walk out to the sandbar without being pushed down by waves. :) It was the perfect location for our family of four, plus our dog--she loved relaxing on the beach, too. We took several evening walks along the shore, visited Fort Clinch State Park, drove to the south end of the Island and visited the Omni Plantation...cooked most of our own meals, had friends visit for dinner (they were very jealous of our view and easy access to the beach), and so much more. This little slice of paradise was such a pleasure to enjoy. We will definitely be back and hope to get some family or friends to rent the other side of the building, although our neighbors for the week were wonderful. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. Everything was clean and well-maintained. It was great having the hose to rinse off beach sand and a relaxing place on the deck to enjoy the morning sunrises and the rolling waves in the evening. The weather was great for mid-October, mid 80's most of the week. This was our first family beach vacation and I think Pam's place has converted my husband from being a "lake guy" to a "beach guy." Pam is great to work with, and we thank you for sharing your beautiful place with others. We can't wait to visit this Fernandina Beach house again!"
