  • Great February 2015 Visit!

"My wife and I stayed at this villa for the month of February 2015. It was exactly as described and shown in photos on the VRBO website. Nicely furnished and the kitchen is equipped with everything you would need. There are lots of towels, sheets, etc. Two TVs, a DVD player, and high-speed wireless are also provided The location is great - it is a short drive off of the main road so it is very quiet. The only ambient sound outdoors was from the ocean waves coming onto the beach, which is a short walk away. Grocery stores, drug stores, and a Wal Mart are a short drive. You can also walk to a Dairy Queen, a seafood restaurant, and a local ice cream store. There is a great breakfast place just up the street (Ms. Carolyns). The ocean beach is public and you can walk for miles in each direction. Lots of room for shelling and strolling. We didn't use the pool, but we noticed a pool service stopped by frequently to clean and maintain the pool. This was our first time to this part of Florida so we drove around quite a bit. The village/city of Fernandina Beach has numerous shops and everyone was very friendly. Nice area to stroll and people watch. They also have a farmers market on Saturday mornings. If you are looking for a great place for a sandwich or salads, try the 4th Street Deli. We like to walk, and this location provided easy access to state parks (Fort Clinch, Little and Big Talbot Islands) that have trails and beach access. The owner was great, even arranging for the cleaning service to get in and out early on our arrival day. He checked in with us several times to make sure everything was going well. I would highly recommend this rental."

  • A Gem

"We had the good fortune to spend a month at Colin and Audrey's Amelia Island condo. The roomy condo was clean and well-equipped including beach necessities (chairs, towels, beach towels, coolers). The galley kitchen has all the meal prep tools needed and the master suite was quite comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the small deck overlooking the greenery. Forest Ridge is a short walk from the beach and beautifully landscaped with a pool and tennis courts. Audrey and Colin are attentive owners concerned with the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. We recommend this property without reservation."

  • Incredible Beach View and Access

"We had a wonderful January week at the Coral Sands. This lower condo unit offered a wonderful view of the beach and the access couldn't have been better. Fishing was good from the beach, with plenty of whiting and occasional trout. Some of the best fishing spots on the beach were right in front of the condo. We also enjoyed hikes on Egan Creek and at at Fort Clinch State Park. We would definitely come back again."

  • Perfect location for the perfect price!

"Stayed in this condo for the long weekend of 4th of July and had a grand time. The condo was clean and fresh feeling and had plenty of room for us and our teenagers. We gave the master bedroom which is very spacious to the teens and they felt they had their own suite. The kitchen was small but nicely stocked and the appliances were very up to date especially the large fridge. The beach was fabulous. Beach access is directly across the street and even though it was the 4th, there were no large annoying crowds. Plenty of room to spread out. You can see all kinds of firework shows from the beach so no need to drive anywhere. Grocery stores were just minutes away and there were two nice miniature golf courses very close by. We did not try any of the restaurants, but there seemed to be plenty of inviting ones if you want to do that. All in all we loved this condo and will hopefully return again. The owners were great to work with and made everything easy."
