Recent Fernandina Beach reviews

  • Great Location

"While we had hoped for the weather to permit a more beach-worthy spring break, this place still provided amazing ocean views with close proximity to everything else. We brought our bikes, and never needed the car. There was even a scenic trail nearby--Egans Creek Greenway. Our 3 year-old son had a blast."

  • Our first (but not our last) visit!

"This was our first visit to Amelia Island and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Fernandina Beach is full of history and the cottage is a historic home itself, nestled in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. The cottage was very comfortable and cozy. We loved being able to walk from the cottage to the historic downtown. Andrea was very accommodating and easy to work with. We will definitely come back."

  • Beautiful Home on Amelia Island

"First off this house is absolutely gorgeous. The decorations made this place feel like a true home away from home. It’s not made super clear in the description but the house is three stories, with the kitchen and living space being on the third floor. That made for a great view but was a bit of a pain to carry groceries up three flights of stairs. The bottom floor is the pool table room with a pull out couch and two roll away beds. The second floor is where the three private bedrooms are and the top floor has a bedroom attached to the dining room that is separated by a curtain. Everyone had a place to sleep but there was a bit of a lack of privacy with that top floor bedroom. I agree with other reviewers when they say the kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed to make meals here. I would also like to point out how clean and tidy the place was. The cleaning crew did a great job and everything was meticulous when we arrived. I will note that you may want to bring some additional toilet paper and paper towels as we found we ran out of what was provided somewhat quickly. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

  • Amelia Landing Stay

"We enjoyed our stay at Amelia Island and liked the condo. This condo is off one of the main roads but is set back and hidden within the trees so you can't even hear the road, or even see it. We were on the first floor which was convenient for carrying things in and out but we could here the ladies staying above us each time they walked across the floor. The pool was very close and we were in walking distance of the beach, but we drove to the beach near the Omni to find fossilized shark teeth. We liked the centralized location and the furnishing were very nice, the couch was especially comfy. We even added a shell to the collection in the kids room."
