"Beach house has everything you could want or need on vacation. Clean, and just across sand lane that is very rarely traveled. Nice breeze blowing across decks to cool you off at the end of a big day exploring this beautiful island,or cools you off after a big day at the beach. Plenty of beach stuff in storage space outside. Nice pool just a few steps from deck. And best of all its really peaceful and quiet. Lucy was very good to work with, and place was everything we were told. Plan to come back next year-well worth the drive for us. Thanks Lucy!"

"We just returned from a week stay at this property and it was wonderful. We stayed with my family of four and were joined by my aunt's family and their dog. The condo was large and perfect, everyone had their own space. Very close to the local public beach and the condo pool was right around the block. The local supermarket was close by as well. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting Amelia Island. I spoke to Lou when we first inquired about the property and he was very friendly and helpful. The staff at summer beach were also great. We hope to visit and rent this property again!"

A Great Value in a Convenient Location for four seniors
"We chose this because its 3 bedrooms and and location in mid-Amelia Island were perfect for the family reunion we were attending with other participants' lodgings stretching from Big Talbot Island to the south and North Fernandina north of us. Also one of us four the sharers in our joint expenses could not afford to pay a top luxury rate. We were a little worried by the cost, as it was easily the lowest for an appropriate space in the area, but it turned out to be perfect for our needs. The building and the property appear a bit age-worn, and certain items in the condo, like toilet paper and light bulbs, were in short supply (but easily and cheaply purchased in nearby stores). The parking was adequate for our two cars, the pool was pleasant and refreshing, and the plantings around the development well-cared-for and attractive. The kitchen was adequately supplied and the equipment (fridge, stove, dishwasher, washer, drier, and most important, during a torrid, humid week, the a/c) all worked perfectly. All in all, a great value which we would rent again on our next visit to Amelia Island."

"We just returned from a wonderful week at the 1930's Beach Cottage, and we had a great time. The cottage is charming and cozy and the beach is only a few steps in back of it. It is very clean and has everything you need for your stay. And it is close to shopping, grocery stores, and dining. We spent a great deal of time sitting on the covered deck on the back of the cottage watching the sights on the beach, and listening to the soothing sounds of the waves. We were also happy that we could bring our little dog with us to the cottage, and that he could also go on the beach with us.
Mr. Miller stopped by right after we arrived and gave us some helpful information about the area and restaurants. We were glad that he did because this was our first visit to Fernandina Beach, and we found the info to be very useful."
