"The house is exactly as advertised. We loved the location - 1 minute walk to the great pool (which we were in every day), and a less than 5 minute drive to Peters Point Beach (which we were also at every day). The house is great for 3 couples, as each bedroom has its own bathroom. Everything you need is already at the house, including basics such as salt and pepper. It is a short drive to the town, where there is lots of quaint stores, and restaurants/bars. We enjoyed watching the ducks and turtles in the pond in the back yard. Definitely recommend this house to anyone going to Amelia Island. Also recommend Amelia Island for anyone looking for a vacation that is full of beach time and pool time."

"My husband retired a little early and have spent the last 4 months checking things off our "bucket list". We rented this lovely home last month and could not have been happier. The home was clean, comfortable, and the location was ideal. After much traveling, this home made me feel like home. The kitchen was very spacious and well equipped so I was able to take a little break from restaurants . ( although we did enjoy a delicious seafood dinner in town). The beach was right there and not crowded. We took walks every morning on beach and enjoyed a glass of wine on balcony every night. Best part was waking up in King Size Bed and being able to see and hear the ocean. We were pleasantly surprised how big this home was and are hoping our daughter and her family will be able to join us next visit. The pool was also a wonderful treat. Clean and refreshing treat after a day on the beach. We will be back."

Perfect for our 3 generations to spend Thanksgiving weekend!
"We celebrated Thanksgiving in Villa D with 3 generations and this beach house was perfect! Everyone had their own bedroom with bath, the dining room table was big enough for everyone to eat Thanksgiving dinner together, and the living room had plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The unit was very well appointed including having everything we needed to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. The short walk to the beach was SO convenient (even if the water was a bit chilly this time of year). We've never seen so many shells including huge horseshoe crab shells! We flew a kite, collected shells, took long walks on the beach, and just enjoyed spending quality family time together.
We had never visited Amelia Island before and really enjoyed learning about the history and exploring Fernandina Beach. Even though this unit is located toward the south end of the island, nothing is very far away. After experiencing the holiday festivities at the Omni Plantation Resort, we were SO glad we chose this unit over the crowds and hustle and bustle there. We will definitely be back!"

"After an unbearably stressful spring we arrived at the "Right in the Beach" cottage. The water so close you could almost touch it! So peaceful and charming, I cried. The only sounds we heard were the waves. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, comfy couches, great a/c. But the waves! The waves! Glorious cottage, glorious beach! Amy was great. I almost hate to recommend it for fear it won't be available when I need it next. But go for a splendid relaxing getaway. You will be restored."
