"The Stevie Monce Band plays on Amelia Island several time a year and they always enjoy their stay. However, this time we chose to stay In this awesome little condo. We enjoyed our time so much. It was great to have a kitchen and a place to relax before and after our shows. The pool is amazing and they place was very well decorated and really clean. Great place to stay!"Guest: cindy m. "We really enjoyed the the unique character of this property. The location is great near the public park. I was especially pleased with the availability of a tool box. You never know when you might need a hammer! I look forward to staying at Ocean Glory again."Guest: Deanna T. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 20, 2014View listing
"We absolutely loved staying at this house for a long weekend. We had a large group (10 people) and the house fit us comfortably. We loved the location- right on the beach- and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Even when we had issues accessing the wifi (due to our error), they were very helpful and addressed our issue quickly. With it being later in the year, the weather was a little chilly, so it was nice to have the hot tub! We would all recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay on Fernandina Beach."Guest: Ellie Date of Stay: October 2013 Review Submitted: April 16, 2014View listing
"Thank you so much for allowing us to share your beautiful and extremely clean condo. Everything exceeded our expectations, from the lovely personal touches to the quite location and close proximity to the beautiful beach. This was our second visit to the area and we look forward to our next trip here. Hopefully your home will be available again as we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. It was really nice to come back to such a cozy and comfortable condo after a days activities, versus a hotel room. It was great having the option to dine out or dine in. Lots of great restaurants in the area. Specially enjoyed Joes 2nd Street bistro and Cafe Karibo on 3rd Street, both downtown Fernandina Beach. Lovely sunset views from the balcony at the Salty Pelican bar/restaurant (food was really good too). Great shopping in the area and the beaches are really lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from day one and again a big thank you to the owners, Colin and Audrey. You have a fabulous place and future guests will not be disappointed!"Guest: Kevin, Ann & Justin Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 2, 2014View listing
Fernandina Beach Travel Tips
Fernandina Beach Rentals for the Perfect Florida Destination
Fernandina Beach is found on the shores of Amelia Island, located just off the northeastern coast of Florida. Schedule a stay in Fernandina Beach rentals for a wonderful glimpse into the historical development of the island and surrounding communities, and absorb the local culture.
Fernandina Beach Rentals Offer Golf and Water Recreation
The area's golf courses are popular all year long for visitors staying in Fernandina beach homes. Business retreats, group getaways and even family reunions are the ideal reasons to spend a day on the course or the surrounding waters. Choose a Fernandina Beach house along the oceanfront, and relax in the sun or charter a sailboat to enjoy a day on the ocean.
Reserve Fernandina Beach Homes and Schedule a Local Historical Tour
A stay in Amelia Island vacation rentals at Fernandina Beach demands a day at the Fort Clinch State Park. Here, you’ll find several well-preserved military forts that date back to the 19th century. You may leave your Fernandina Beach homes to go along on a scheduled walking tour complete with reenactments. These forts were used during the Civil and Spanish-American wars, and offer a prime look into the past. During your visit to Fort Clinch, plan on spending an evening away from your Fernandina Beach house to camp along the shore and wake to a breathtaking sunrise.
Enjoy Annual Events near Your Fernandina Beach House
Every year, there are several festivals, fairs and celebrations that the locals living around Fernandina Beach rentals love to take part in. The Pirate Parade and Annual Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival are two such events. Schedule your visit to Fernandina Beach homes to coincide with these celebrations, and have fun absorbing the local culture. You and your entire family will have a chance to peruse the many booths full of artwork, crafts and other mementos that make wonderful gifts and souvenirs. After partaking of some fresh shrimp dishes, enjoy the live music and entertainment within an arm’s reach of your Fernandina Beach house.
