"I am completely biased....Fernandina is one of my favorite places. I feel so fortunate to have stumbled upon Andrea's house on vrbo and it truly felt like home the minute I walked through the door. The house is quirky - every nook and cranny is filled with wonderful art, crafts and tchotchkes and we loved it. Located just shy of half a mile from town, it is the perfect walk to town. You really will feel like you are in a Norman Rockwell painting - little kids eating ice cream cones, families walking dogs...everyone is friendly and says hello. The house has everything you need - it's comfortable and cozy and Andrea is ready to answer any of your questions. She's a gem and her house is charming."

"Our stay at Pelican Roost with our three small dogs was outstanding. Very clean and ready to go when we arrived. We truly enjoyed having easy and private access to the ocean. We loved Brenda's personal artwork painted on the walls. Brenda and Jim also provided all the beach items such as chairs, umbrellas, coolers on wheels...etc...etc. The private boardwalk leading to the ocean beach has cushioned benches that allowed us to look out towards the beach and take magnificent selfie's and views of the ocean. Caught a few dolphins on camera in the early mornings while strolling along the shoreline. Our pets are accustomed to water and were able to enjoy long walks along the beautiful soft sandy beach. We highly recommend this location and will be returning again in the near future."

"This is a nice modest condo in a very quiet community. The walk to the beach would be too far for small children. It is shorter if you take the private pathway but it is just that, a pathway. We had no problems at the condo we rented scooters for the week and rode them all over the island. This was our 1st trip to Amelia island. It is a very quiet beach town. It was nice to have the available chairs to carry to the beach. It was nice to have the board games for the rainy times which for us unfortunately was a part of daily life. The waves are fun at the beach and lots of shells to comb through. The state park is beautiful and we enjoyed our tour of the fort. The kitchen was wonderful. I loved the set up of this condo and the screened porch is a huge bonus!!! This is where board games were played. The pizza place in the publix shopping center has the best pizza! And the ice-cream store next door was great and convenient. Do not miss out on Nana Teresa's bakery (I believe that is right) in the historic area, the best pastries ever! The historic district is a fun visit. Amelia island is very close to great shopping in Jacksonville as well! Thanks a billion!"

"Amelia South Condo and Amelia Island. What a great place to visit. The corner condo unit had easy access to parking, the beach and pool. Great balcony views, bright, warm, and furnished with all you need and more. Convenient to downtown and restaurant's. We will highly recommend this condo to family and friends. Thanks to the Greene family for allowing us our wonderful week there."
