"This was my family's first trip to Amelia Island, and I feel so lucky to have found this vacation home/retreat! It's a shockingly beautiful condo (maybe a bit *too* nice for our family with 2 young kids, as I worried we would mess it up). We had all the comforts of home and then some. We decided it was the best place to be on the island - close to everything we found we wanted to do. It's across from main beach, with ample parking, playground, activities, picnic tables, and a couple of restaurants - it was a friendly public beach, but never really crowded. A 5 minute walk but we chose to drive. It's 10 minutes from downtown Fernandina, with great restaurants, fun shops, and boat tours. It's right next door to Fort Clinch, which is a wonderful state park with a pier that goes out a half mile into the ocean, and a gorgeous beach that was completely deserted when we were there. And next door, as well, to the recreation center, where we found two wonderful playgrounds (we particularly liked the Pirate Playground) and Egan's Creek Greenway - an fantastically scenic walking/biking trail. We also made the 30 minute drive to the Jacksonville Zoo, which was wonderful, too! It was a magical week, and we'll definitely be back."Guest: Kim M. "We had an amazing vacation in this beautiful condo! We are a family of 3 but this condo would easily and comfortably suit 5 people. We loved the screened on porch for peaceful breakfasts and quiet evenings. The beach was beautiful as always. The best part for us was the pool for our daughter this year. There is a sweet young lady on the condo complex that teaches swimming lessons and we had the privilege of meeting her on our 2nd day. Our daughter was swimming like a little mermaid by the end of the week and hasn't stopped since we got home! We hope to continue to spend our summers in your lovely home! Thank you for opening your home to us!"Guest: Rebecca Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: August 1, 2014View listing
"What a great place! Very clean and spacious. It had everything you could need. The kitchen and master bath remodel are great. We really did see dolphins from the deck-twice! The owner is great to work with. Responds immediately to requests. Hope to go here again."Guest: Jeri O. Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 26, 2014View listing
"We had a wonderful week on Amelia Island. This lovely condo was very comfortable for our group of 5. It has a great ocean view from the balcony and the grounds are beautifully maintained. We started every day on the beach. We rented bikes and road the trails in Fort Clinch State Park, right next door. Enjoyed good food and libations on the beach at Sandy Bottoms. Loved the seafood at the Crab Trap, just a short drive away. And shopping, of course. There are more things to explore, so we'll be back!"Guest: Brian & Linda Pudil Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 16, 2014View listing
