"The location of Sand Dollar Villas on Amelia Island is perfect. The condos are ocean front & have a private boardwalk to the beach. All condos have balconies with a view of the ocean. The outside of the site is very well maintained & landscaped nicely. There is an elevator to the 2nd & 3rd story units. There are carts for moving luggage in & out of condos. The pool area is very well maintained & always clean. There are plenty of deck chairs for lounging. Pool rules are strictly enforced as there are video cameras overlooking pool area with property manager monitoring. No food or drink in pool area, no horseplay, etc. Property manager lives on site & is available in office until 5pm daily. My family visited in July & the beach was not crowded at all as it appears to only have Sand Dollar guests in the vicinity. Some days, there were just a handful of people on the beach & it was mostly families. The beach is very pretty with white sand. This unit is a 2 bedroom & 2 bath condo with lots of items for cooking available. Anything needed is available. There were several beach chairs, beach toys, a boogie board, & pool toys available on the balcony. The beds slept well. Plenty of towels were provided as well. There were flat screen TVs in each bedroom & in living room. The unit does not have the most updated decor I have encountered but it was comfortable. Ms. Christine, unit owner, is one of the most sincere & kind people I have ever done business with. She was great to work with from the moment I inquired about the unit through leaving. Ms. Christine was beyond accommodating & very trustworthy. It is unpredictable what type of person you will rent a unit from or their character but anyone who works with her will be very pleased as she proved to be of high integrity. I would return to this unit again & I recommend this unit for rental to families. The entire set up is extremely family friendly & there is a sense of pride in the property's presentation. It feels safe, it is in an area that is not highly commercial (plenty to do though), & is in a perfect beach area. Recommended restaraunt: Sliders was the BEST! Be sure to go to downtown Amelia where the historic buildings, tours, shops, and a variety of restataunts. Love Amelia Island!"

"We loved staying mid-island. The housekeeping team didn't replenish supplies. I understand they weren't the regular cleaning crew. The carpet needs a deep cleaning, and the pillows need replacing. I didn't like receiving a call one day asking what our plans were, that the owner wanted an appliance repair guy to come out and look at the washer. Umm, it's bad enough waiting for an appliance repair guy at home, won't do it on my vacation! Overall, this condo is very nice, the views are spectacular. We will use Vacation Rental Pros again. You need to bring your bicycles for the perfect island experience. Riding on the beach is so much fun! Go to Sliders, great beach bar/restaurant, right on the dunes. Timoti's downtown has delicious, fresh food. Casual outdoor eating.we love Amelia Island."

"We enjoyed our stay in Deborah's condo. One of the ceiling fans and a light in the kitchen quit working during our stay. I called Deborah and she immediately had it checked out a replaced. She's very easy to get in contact with and will resolve any problem quickly. The condo is very nice and close to the beach. Amelia Island is a very nice place to visit. There's a lot of history there and a lot of good places to eat. Deborah has a list of restaurants in the welcome book that are good to eat at and also has thorough instructions on what to do to make your stay easy and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone wanting a nice place to stay near the beach in a quite neighborhood."
