  • My Favorite Place Ever!!

"This was not the first time I have stayed at this beach cottage and it certainly wont be the last. The cottage is very clean, cozy and comfortable, and has all the comforts of home, including internet access, phone, washer/dryer, full kitchen, etc. In addition, the best thing is THE VIEW! OMG!! When you walk in the door you are greeted with a large picture window which gives you a million dollar view of the ocean…and it is right out the door. Walk literally a few steps and you are on the sand. It's like living in a novel! I've taken girlfriends more than once and they all keep asking me when can we go back!! Pam, the owner, is so gracious and easy to communicate with. Honestly, I couldn't ask for more for a beach getaway with my husband or girlfriends and I cannot wait to go back."

  • Great Florida Vacation

"We vacationed for a week on Amelia Island Plantation and had a wonderful time. The condo was very clean, well maintained, nicely decorated and furnished with everything needed. It has new appliances and the washer/dryer even has an instruction manual because of so many functions. Now my wife wants a new set like that one. The grounds are well manicured; secure; the pool was clean; the private beach was huge without many people. The beach walk was convenient (even with a 4 year old) and the pool was basically right outside from the condos bottom floor. The fine dining on the plantation was great with very friendly staff. We took a horse drawn carriage ride in the historic district and my daughter thought she was Cinderella! Sporting activities such as surfing, fishing, tennis and golf can also be enjoyed. The condo has a room full of beach equipment/toys/chairs/umbrellas, everything you could want. The owner was very helpful and responsive to any question and even helped us figure out how to use the surround sound system for movies and playing music. I have highly recommended this property to my family, friends and have already made my reservation for next year."

  • Wonderful unit that exceeds expectations

"Amelia Island has been our family's annual beach vacation for over 20 years. We have stayed in various units within AIP and a few outside of AIP. Of all the places we have stayed, this unit is by far our favorite. The ocean views spectacular as were the sunset views by just turning our heads from the dining room table. Being an end unit and top floor, enables that great view of both the ocean and marsh area from the dining room. The two bedrooms also offer a great view looking out over the island and the marsh. Designated covered parking next to the elevator is wonderful. I can recall the many times we had to search & search for a parking space at other units with the end result being a very long walk. When it's raining and you have your hands full of groceries that's not fun. Another plus is the short walk down the beach to the Omni Hotel. Omni purchased AIP a few years ago and the food is now fantastic. We ate lunch & dinner at Oceanside Grill and a dinner at Sunrise Cafe. Our meals there were fantastic and priced very reasonably. In the past we have always driven to Fernandina when dining out as there are some great restaurants in town. This trip we only ate once in Fernandina as it was so convenient to walk down the beach for great food with an equally great view. We can't wait to go back!"

  • Beautiful and Spacious Condo!

"This is the second time we have stayed in this condo at Surf & Racquet Club, and we were just as pleased with this stay as we were with our first one. The condo is beautifully furnished and has absolutely everything that is needed for comfort and convenience. It was so relaxing to sit in the comfortable swivel rockers in front of the large window and enjoy the unobstructed view of the ocean as we drank our coffee each morning. We can't say enough kind things about Kevin, the owner. He was great to work with, and we appreciated everything he did to help make the rental process easy and our stay an enjoyable one. We are already planning a return visit to Amelia Island in early December of this year, and we will definitely stay in this lovely unit!"
