  • Bike Week 2015

"Overall the facility was found as advertised. Some initial issues with entrance to the property instructions and location of towels and washcloths. The individuals answering the telephones tried to be helpful but usually had to contact other staff personnel to obtain answers, for example towels and washcloths weren't easily located. When I placed a call to inquire about the lack of these items it would have been nice if the individuals contacted could have said were the items were stored. HVAC maintenance crew showed up unannounced. I had an issue concerning the keys/lock code. Even though the individual I spoke with said Vacation Rental Pros had the ability to change the lock code he flatly stated he would not change the code for me during my visit. Suggestion...If you have the ability to change the lock codes why not let your/renters decide their own code once the final payment is received this way your maintenance personnel has time to reset the code before the renter arrives. I'm sure VRPs handles many properties but one plan does not fit all. No issues with the property or the functionality of items therein contained."

  • December trip to St Augustine

"Four couples stayed here for a week. We spent a lot of time in St. Augustine and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was beautiful and we enjoyed having the Christmas decorations!! Due to the unexpected cold weather, we didn't get to use the extensive outside areas of the home which were really nice. This home is outstanding in every way. The top-of-the-line appliances were almost smarter than we were. Would love to stay here again,"

  • Great Thanksgiving at the Beach

"The Hammock Beach Mansion was a beautiful home for our family Thanksgiving. The house was the perfect size for us. We couldn't have asked for any more amenities. I would suggest that the cleaning and maintenance team be briefed on some problems with the home. They are not major but did cause some concern during our stay. We had to clean the dust and cobwebs from the hanging light fixtures in the kitchen. It was really terrible to have this over the food preparation area. The book cases in the family room had almost an inch of dust on them so we cleaned them. The master bathtub was not useable due to the dirt on the tub and coming out of the tub jets. The only maintenance item we had was that the tub in the 1st floor master suite bedroom would not drain. I would certainly recommend and come back to this rental again. The beach location and the attention from the Vacation Rental Pro staff made our trip wonderful. For sure - they need a new cleaning crew for this house though."

  • Fantastic Balcony -

"Great views and can hear the ocean 24/7. Loved the varied terrain walking on the beach. Found starfish and a crab big enough to eat. The condo was exactly as described. With the 60" TV it was also a great balance for the 1 indoor person. Not bad watching baseball playoffs AND listening to the ocean from the same spot. Enjoyed the fresh produce market just down the road and the easy access to more pure sand beaches. Lots of places to hike or ride bikes. Enjoyed having the option to go into st augustine for activities or stay at condo and be surrounded by nature. A car is a must have as there are no conveniences in walking distance - which I saw as a positive."
