"NOT ENOUGH TOWELS, POOL TO FAR AWAY, AND HAD TO DRIVE THROUGH TOLL BOOTH TO GET TO THE NEAREST BEACH. I UNDERSTAND SAFETY, BUT GETTING IN AND OUT OF THE GATED COMMUNITY WAS RIDICULOUS. CONDO AND RENTAL COMPANY WAS FANTASTIC."

  • Nice but needs attention

"The condo was as pictured, but there were several problems.

There were no instruction booklets, and we were unable to use the main tv. Someone did come within several hours of our call to help with that.

However, the dining room chairs are in need of repair. The bolts on the chair legs are loose. One of the chairs collapsed when my 76-year-old, 125-pound sister-in-law tried to sit down. We are very lucky she didn't break a hip on the tile floor or crack her head on the glass table. This happened the first Sunday we were there. I called twice about it, and it was never fixed or replaced. We had seating for five in a condo that slept nine.

There were other little things, like a fan and hair dryer that didn't work, but they were minor inconveniences at worst. There was no overhead lighting in the living room, making it impossible to read in the evening as the end table lamps were too weak. The seating and weak chairs were a major problem.

The facilities were nice. We went to the pools at 8a.m. And often had the place to ourselves. It was nice having the family pool separate from the "quiet" pool so we could go one place with the grand kids and another to be alone and relax.

Some information in the unit about where to go buy groceries and where to go for dinner would be nice."
