  • Thanksgiving Family Reunion

"This is an entertainer's paradise. The layout was perfect for hosting a large family gathering. This house has everything necessary to cook a large meal and seating everywhere. This was the first vacation that my family actually felt like we were home. The management company was very responsive to our requests. My only negatives were the non-working outside fireplace and the lack of garage door openers. My family had such a great time that are trying to think of a reason to return soon."

  • Lots of room for the whole family....

"A lovely spacious home with fabulous view of the ocean. Customer service was very helpful. Some contradictory info (number of cars that can park in garages) and rules (who puts out the trash). Overall great house and holiday. Downsides: one oven barely working, no sound insulation between floors making a couple of the second floor bedrooms noisy from the kitchen and dining areas on the top floor, and my grandson's swimming mask disappeared on Wednesday night from the house pool area. Only thing that would keep us from coming back is the over-strict (even for an HOA) HOA rules."

  • Perfect Vaction Home for Introverts

"The week my family spent at Harmony House was great. We loved having our own stretch of beach and lots of privacy. The house is not in a typical conglomeration of rental properties - if you are looking for miniature golf, go carts, jet skis, para-sailing , quad bikes and the like, you should look elsewhere. This rental is for people who like nature and quite. The beach is lined with coquina rocks, so playing in the waves is a low-tide activity, especially for small children. The rocks themselves are quite interesting, with basins and holes like Swiss cheese through which the waves surge at high tide. The house is not fancy (consistent with it's bronze rating) and could use some maintenance, but was comfortable enough. Be advised that the “bonus room” has changed very little since it's previous life as a garage and offers easy in-out privileges for bugs, including stunningly large (but harmless) huntsman spiders. The best thing about this real estate is location, location, location. There are no near neighbors on either side and having an unobstructed view of undeveloped coastline from the breakfast table was wonderful. VacationRentalPros manages this property in a profession manor – maybe too much so. They responded promptly to all inquiries, but also made me sign a one-sided contract with a long list of offenses that would result in our immediate eviction or extra charges to my credit card. That said, they didn't hassle us in any way during our visit, and the notices posted inside the house were much less adversarial. When comparing rental property prices be sure to read the fine print – in addition to taxes, a high cleaning fee, and a non-refundable damage fee, there is an additional charge of 5.95% for unspecified “amenities.” On the whole we were very pleased with our stay at Harmony House. The quite surroundings and proximity to nature suited our family of introverts well."

  • Beautiful Beach

"We had a wonderful week at Dreaming Dunes. The beach was amazing, very private which was perfect. The weather in October was beautiful. We had amazing sunrises and moon "rises" at night too. The house was overall in good shape. Except for dirty linen on one bed it was clean. We would return to this property again."
