• A Place That Has Everything!

"This condo is beautifully decorated and quite comfortable. Having all amenities close by just made our stay even more pleasant; close walk to beach, golf, and Sawgrass Country Club restaurants because owners are members and could offer that to guests. The unit has EVERYTHING you could imagine; if you forgot to bring it, the owners have it available for you. We didn't want to leave and loved it so much, we are looking at properties in the Ponte Vedra area!"

  • Wonderful stay

"We had 10 people stay here for a 1 week stay in August. The house was wonderful and we really enjoyed being right on the beach. There were rarely any other people on the beach so we had it all to ourselves. We also enjoyed the fire pit and grill. The house was large enough for our group & had plenty of sitting space for everyone. The table was large enough for all to eat at & play games. There were plenty of beach toys there for the kids. The kitchen is fully stocked and has almost everything you would need to prepare meals. The two bedrooms upstairs were beautiful. The bedrooms on lower level were a little outdated. Everyone really enjoyed the putting green outside.

There are no stores nearby. Publix is about 20 minutes away. We had cars so we didn't mind. Restaurants are a good drive too. But it was nice being in the middle of nowhere. Cell phone service was also horrible here (not a bad thing on vacation) but there was free wifi at the house.

The floors definitely were not cleaned very well before we arrived. Everyone's feet were filthy from walking around just the first day. The oven in the kitchen is very outdated and not all of the buttons work on it, so you can not broil or get the oven to certain temperatures. The ice maker in the freezer worked the first day and then that was it. The air conditioner was not working when we arrived. Despite being set on 72 degrees it remained at 79/80. We called for maintenance and they sent someone over on a Sunday, which I was very impressed. They sent for an AC repair guy and he came on Sunday as well and fixed it. We were quite pleased with the response.
One of the big negatives for us was the palmetto bugs. We found quite a few of them on the back patio at night, in the garage and lower level where 2 bedrooms are. There were 3 cockroaches found as well. There were no bugs on main or upper level.

Everyone raved about the house and we will definitely rent a house similar to this one agai"

  • Close getaway to paradise before school year begins.....

"As a repeat renter of Turtle Dunes....I love this place! Searched this area for hours first time renting to accommodate all our/my needs. Nice large covered deck overlooking the beach with fewest number of stairs(bad knees), I found it all here! There were days I didn't/couldn't deal with the stairs, this didn't stop me from watching my family enjoy the surf and sand while taking in the ocean breeze in the shade. I spend majority of my week on this porch, very disappointed it had been neglected (green algae build up under canopy, so disgusting I almost cleared the deck and cleaned it myself). Cozy house with comfortable beds, but please get rid of that 's uncomfortable and filthy, I don't sit on it and cover it for my family to use. And for the cost of cleaning fee....place could have been cleaner, not to my standards (needs a deep cleaning). Although great having new septic/drain field...needs to be mowed, not appealing upon arrival to see grass knee high (nor to potential 1st time renters) oh....and it could use a few large trash cans with lids...and recycle bins.
Always a pleasure speaking to Linda Mann @ VRP ....she's goes above and beyond to make sure our vacay is the best...thanks Linda! Hopefully this charming little place gets the TLC that it deserves so we can come back next year....fortunately I live close enough to check it out before renting... and I will! I love this place ....please take care of it!"

  • Home away from home

"Just spent a week at this wonderful home. The location and home are absolutely perfect. Early morning coffee outside watching the sun rise - priceless. The house was perfect - spotless and so well equipped. The kitchen has every imaginable cooking utensil and loads of silverware and dishes - more than enough for extra guests. The linen closet was fully stocked and tons of extra blankets and pillows. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. The garage was full of beach chairs and toys - including fishing rods and a gas bbq (you can fish from the front yard - that is how close you are to the ocean). We watched dolphins pass by - three pods in one day! Grocery store about 15 minutes away. Internet worked great. Appreciated the land line phones as cell service is not very good in the area. All in all a perfect stay - wish it were longer. Owner was easy to work with. Keys were collected from nearby Real Estate agent. Would definitely stay again."
