  • Need to improve Garage parking situation!!!

"If you want to be right at the beach, this is the place plus the deck at the intracoastal for a nice sunset, however cleaning fees a Joke for the price of this Apt, dust and dirt under the beds?? furniture need to be Updated to be luxury for this Price$$$, internet really nice and Netflix an added value when you have kids!! will recommend to assign a parking lot in the garage per Apt, since is a mess when its crowd and you get back home late night and have to park outside!! lots of person with Boat leave the trailers on the outside parking which make it tuff, 1st week pool was excellent after no idea what happens with the cleaning??. if you likes a good place to eat while you see the Sunset and Kids having fun, Caps on the Water a must right at 4325 Myrtle St, good Food & service and great wines selection , Castillo de San Marcos a Must also, plus a nice walk in Downtown, Lighthouse and Alligator Farm and if you like golfing lots of good and cheap courses: Palm Harbor, Cimarrone, St. Johns Golf & Country Club, Royal St. Augustine, South Hampton and don't forget World Golf village Both courses great rates if you play on the afternoon a must do for golfers, play all of them your pick depend on your Budget use"

  • Fantastic accomodation!

"We were thrilled with this condo unit for our March Break vacation. The moment we walked in we were impressed with how clean and spacious this unit was. Traveling with 4 teenage girls the layout was perfect, two bedrooms and a bathroom for them, and a master bedroom with private en suite for us. Coffee on the balcony in the sun each morning was a dream! The girls also enjoyed a few lunches and games of cards out there. The condo was a quiet complex too and we have no complaints about neighbourhood noise. We were concerned when booking about the length of the walk to the beach, but the boardwalk was convenient and we have no complaints about the walk, which was shorter than we expected. The community is very friendly and each time we were meeting and greeting others. The Publix is just a walk away and we were impressed by the southern hospitality/policy there...the manager that helped to load our groceries and walked them out to the car the first night we arrived! The girls also enjoyed the short walk and convenience to pizza and Marble Slab Creamery ice cream shops in the same plaza. This was our first time renting through a company and we based our choice on budget, pictures and previous reviews. I would have loved an oceanfront location, but I must say that staying at this condo, I was so happy to be on the balcony in the sun each morning and looking down at the pool, that I didn't even worry about lacking the ocean view. Plus, when it was breezy, the balcony was warm and sheltered. The condo had so much going for it. Kitchen appliances and utensils were well stocked and we didn't use half of it. The laundry in condo was convenient for beach towels. The beds were comfortable and there were ceiling fans in each room. There was also a brand new crib, mattress and highchair, plus a wagon to transport small children to the beach. We spent a lot of time walking the beach and enjoyed lunch and dinner at the Sunset Grille, which is about 1.5 miles up the road near the pier. We also went into Old Saint Augustine and enjoyed the White Lion Pub patio, St. George St. shops, Ripleys Believe it or Not and the girls went on a ghost tour-they weren't the greatest of believers! We have already recommended this condo to our extended families and would not hesitate to stay here again. This was a great way to vacation with our daughter and her 3 friends!"

  • wonderful time

"Very nice stay.Upstairs deck needs an umbrella for the table. Location of lockbox for the key was very hard to find.(It was located in a reserved carport for one of the owners of another unit.) I would like to vacation at this unit in the future."

Florida North East Travel Tips

Northeast Florida Vacation Rentals for Your Next Trip

Northeast Florida has some of the oldest settlements in the United States. Discovered by Juan Ponce de Leon in 1513, both the Spanish and French established settlements in northeast Florida. With the advent of the Florida East Coast Railroad by William Henry Flagler in the late 19th century, the advantages of the area as a winter resort became more apparent. Nicknamed the “Sunshine State,” it is a popular vacation destination for families, couples, snowbirds escaping the northern states for the winter, and spring breaker travelers. Nowadays, St. Augustine, Amelia Island, Jacksonville and Daytona Beach are some of the most popular vacation destinations in the U.S.

Choose Your own Northeast Florida Vacation Rentals

The coastline of northeast Florida is lined with oceanfront condos and apartments offering fantastic vacation rentals right on the beach. Condos often have their own private balcony, a sun terrace and shared swimming pool overlooking the beach. The convenience of having these amenities and sun loungers just steps from your lodging makes good sense. Within your own vacation rental unit, the well-equipped kitchen can be stocked with cold drinks and snacks, helping to save you money during the vacation. Older children can come and go to the beach and pool as they please and everyone has their own bedroom space. A vacation rental usually works out to be much cheaper than a hotel, especially for a family. Couples can opt for a smaller unit or may share the space (and cost!) with friends. Those requiring a special diet will find the convenience of a vacation rental home a great advantage. Best of all, condo rentals are comfortably furnished to a high standard with every convenience in the kitchen from a washer/dryer unit to a dishwasher.

Things to do Near Northeast Florida Condos

Northeast Florida has plenty of things to see and do including the usual beach pursuits of surfing, metal detecting, sunbathing and fishing. Jet skis, windsurfing and bird-watching are popular pursuits. Visitors can also take a boat trip along the quieter Intracoastal Waterway. The area has plenty of museums, including the Wax Museum and Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum in St. Augustine, lighthouses, national parks, golf courses and excellent shopping malls. Cycling and walking along the firm sands and boardwalks are popular ways to see the area. Art-lovers will enjoy a visit to the Cummer Museum of Art which has a fine collection of Japanese prints and 19th-century artwork in this beautiful mansion. There are also several botanical gardens in the area.

Getting to Northeast Florida Resorts

Many people drive to Northeast Florida. Those choosing to fly will find Jacksonville International Airport the nearest major airport to this area. It is just 16 miles from Amelia City lodging, 22 miles from the Jacksonville beach rentals and within easy driving distance of St. Augustine and Daytona Beach.

Neighborhoods to Visit From Northeast Florida Resorts

Amelia Island has some of the best beaches and sand dunes in Florida. It has the Fort Clinch State Park with a historic Civil War fort and plenty of shops and restaurants. Jacksonville has miles of beautiful sandy beaches along the barrier island and Atlantic Beach is a favorite with surfers. A little further down the coast from Jacksonville is St. Augustine, the nation’s oldest city, founded in 1565. It has beautiful Spanish-style architecture and the oldest wooden school house in the U.S., in a replica village of the original settlement. Daytona Beach is home to Speedway Racing since cars first raced along the firm sands in 1902. Cape Canaveral is home to the Kennedy Space Center and offers a great day out. If you are really lucky, there may be a space shuttle launch during your stay.
