"Our family (2 children under 5) had an amazing time. The property was extremely well maintained and the amenities were perfect. We spent most if our time on the 270-degree porch which let my kids overlook the square and the action taking place in the am and pm. We've stayed in many properties and Id place this in my top 3 with regard to location to the beach, pools, eats and all around convenience."Guest: Ahm Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 2, 2014View listing
"Four adults shared this property for one week and found it to be ideal for vacationing, Good location, short walk to restaurants, pool and beach. Bedrooms on 2 separate levels made it convenient for each family to have their own space, The property is maintained very well . Owner was pleasant and very helpful. We would recommend this property to our friends and family. Hopefully we will be able to make a return visit."Guest: Ed & Tina Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 12, 2014View listing
"We had a wonderful time at this carriage house. Everything was very clean and tidy. We were given great directions on how to get to the property along with a map of the property via email. We informed the landlord that we would be arriving late on the night of the arrival and received a check-up text to make sure we made it OK and were able to get in the cottage easily. Our stay was wonderful. Property is very comfortable! Would definitely recommend it for a quiet relaxing getaway!"Guest: Jacob Date of Stay: September 2013 Review Submitted: October 9, 2013View listing
"I have stayed in this cottage on two occasions, as well as many other properties in Rosemary Beach. It has a fantastic location on the south side of 30A and is just a short walk down the boardwalk to the beach. It is nicely decorated and has a nice reading room off the main living room on the main floor that my family has greatly enjoyed. It has a very specious third floor for the kids with beds, a sitting area with a nice tv. Other things I have liked include a gas fireplace (perfect for fall evenings), a very nice grill outside that is hooked into the main gas line(so that is never empty!), several very nice porches, and that it comes with four nice bikes. The management is very friendly and responsive. In my opinion, this may be one of the best vacation values in Rosemary."Guest: Anchor down! Rosemary Beach Travel Tips
This slice of paradise is no stranger to romantic sunsets, crowdless white sand beaches or a welcoming community atmosphere. As a neo-traditional town located on northwest Florida's Gulf Coast, Rosemary Beach stretches across 107 acres of gorgeous coastline with warm weather year-round.
To sweeten the deal, this Gulf-front town features a scenic bike trail, called the 30A Bike Trail or the Timpoochee Trail, that winds through the nearby beach communities and coastal dune lakes. After you work up an appetite, head to one of the specialty restaurants built into the city's commercial architecture that's reminiscent of Old World charm.
If you're still not sold, you can take advantage of the quaint town center and luxurious amenities, such as tennis courts pools and plenty of green space, to complement its sandy shores. Truly, Rosemary Beach is an ideal sun-and-sand vacation. Come one, come all - your beachside getaway is waiting for you.
For those coming by plane, the best way to get here is through the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport, which is located about 20 miles away. If you're driving, head down Interstate 10 until you reach U.S. Highway 331, then take it south toward U.S. Highway 20. From there, make your way south down Highway 79 where you'll see signs for Rosemary Beach.
Best Things to Do
Hang Out on the Beach: Of course, the main draw of Rosemary is its majestic beach. Find a spot under a canopy on the glimmering white shores and spend your day relaxing while the waves come crashing in. If you want a little more action, head to the Butterfly Garden on the northwest corner of the area to play bocce ball.
30A Farmers Market: Get a taste of West Indies culture at 30A Farmers Market every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day. At this quaint market, you'll walk through a beautiful park-like setting at the Town Center to find fresh fruits and vegetables, cheese, homemade breads and local seafood. Bring the kids along to sample sweet treats, pies, and cupcakes. It's a family that everyone of all ages can enjoy.
Bike Along the 30A Bike Trails: With weather as fine as the vistas in Rosemary, there's never a bad time to bike around the city. Rent all of the gear at Bamboo Bicycle Company, which has bikes for everyone from toddlers to grandparents, and cruise along the 30A Trail, running from Dune Allen Beach to Rosemary Beach. Locals will tell you it's one of the best ways to check out the coast. If you want to try something new, opt for the tandem bike for a bike experience twice the fun!
Wine and Dine
Restaurant Paradis: When you think of fine dining, places like Restaurant Paradis come to mind. This small yet elegant spot serves up delectable steaks and seafood complemented by a bottle of wine. Throughout the year, they offer wine dinners and tastings from some of California's exclusive vintners. You can even choose to eat in the dining room, lounge or outside on the patio.
Cowgirl Kitchen: At Cowgirl Kitchen, the whole family can enjoy a casual, fun atmosphere for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For youngsters, the chicken nachos are a hit, while parents tend to savor the drunken shrimp tacos. If you're looking for happy hour, there are six beers on tap and a wide selection of frozen Fat Tuesday daiquiris on Mondays through Thursdays.
Edward's Fine Food & Wine: How does Southern-infused dining with a wine bar sound? At the helm of Edward's kitchen is chef Ed Reese, who's known for staying true to simple and delicious flavors. Crowd favorites on the menu include baked oysters and the pan?-roasted fish of the day. No reservations are needed, and children are always welcome.
