  • Wonderful time

"We had a fantastic time during our stay. The communication and response time during the booking process was top notch. The entire house was fantastically stocked with good quality items (I.e. Bath towels). The location is wonderful and we couldn't have had a better time. Only comment is that it could use a bit of interior touch up paint and some sharper knives for cooking. Just had a great time overall! Would definitely stay again."

  • Best vacation ever!!!!

"Oh....The Surf. Last August (2014), my grandmother treated my family (including aunts and uncles) to a lovely week at The Surf. We had 9 people, and we were a little snug, but we still fit great. My family is from the midwest, so we had a 16 hour drive, but it was SO well worth it when we arrived. The air smelled of the sea, and was refreshing after the long drive. When we got into the house, we were pleasantly surprised about how big it was--bigger feeling than the photographs let on. This was the best vacation I think I've ever been on, and I would go again in a heartbeat. The location was phenomenal--the ocean is right there! The white sands and blue water were just what I'd dreamed of. Alright, now to the nitty-gritty. The Surf wasn't the cleanest house ever. There was some sand tracked in onto the rugs and a little on the sofas. But hey. We're ON the beach. There's going to be sand, and it was totally cool. The bicycles provided were in fine shape--we had a blast going on night-rides when the weather cooled off. We also made use of the outdoor shower heads near the decks, perfect for rinsing off the sand from the beach before going back in. The kitchen was very well stocked with assorted dishes and pots and pans and silverware...Anything you want to cook, you can. The refrigerator was plenty large enough for 9 tall people with big appetites, so that was a good thing. The washer and dryer worked very well, and there were plenty of towels and washcloths. All in all, this is an INCREDIBLE vacation spot. Look nowhere else! This is the place you should rent."

  • Wonderful details, so inviting!

"Just stayed at this cottage with four girlfriends. Can't say enough about how warm, inviting and gracious the cottage and small community of cottages is. The house has lovely details - hooks where you need them, comfy sofa and chairs, well designed and furnished bathrooms and bedrooms. The access to the swimming pool and the lovely white sands and clear ocean beach was just great. As other reviewers have said, proximity to shopping, restaurants, lovely natural settings gives you the best of both worlds - a quite cottage near lively, lovely shops and cafes."

  • Great house

"We stayed here over Thanksgivng with 5 adults and 2 kids. The house had plenty of room with a great open floor plan downstairs. The house had everything we needed for cooking and grilling. Great lay out for families. Very close to the pool. About a 5 minute walk to the beach. The house was very clean, but the bathroom shower grout could be refreshed to make it feel a little cleaner."
