"We had an awesome stay at your beautiful home. The accommodations were absolutely perfect and working with Mary Beth was a pleasure. We will return. Cannot wait to come back in summer when we can use the phenomenal swimming pool."

  • Nothing is Sweeter than Little Reata

"My husband and I were really happy with our stay at this gorgeous villa in the gated Sunset Beach community. The cottage is single family, so there is no issue with noisy neighbors above or below you. Furnishings are very comfortable and the place is beautifully decorated and appointed (love the tile and hardwood floors, the fun framed prints, and all of the white plantation shutters!) The property has lots of added touches not often found in other rentals ... Bose speakers for your Ipod, a well-stocked kitchen, free WiFi, a gas grill, a DVD library, flat screen TVs in the Family Room and each bedroom, and nice bikes at your disposal. With a washer/dryer in the unit, you can really trim the amount of clothes you bring along. Our adult children and their significant others joined us for part of our stay and the 6 of us slept comfortably. The Rosemary/Alys Beach area is very nice, and we took full advantage of the many restaurants nearby or a short drive away. We also rode the bikes almost every day - once into Sea Side; it is so nice to have those bikes available! We would definitely recommend Little Reata (unless it's the same week we want to return!)"

  • New Review

"One of my concerns in booking this property was that there were few reviews and most had some age to them. I shared my concern with the owner of this property and she assured me that the likely reason for the lack of reviews was that she has many repeat guests. After spending a week at this home, I understand why people return. The home is very comfortable, tastefully decorated and has a good lay-out for families. My husband, our children and I stayed in the upstairs bedrooms and my parents stayed downstairs. This was a good set-up for the separate families. I suspect families with teenagers would also appreciate this arrangement. One thing to note, the upstairs bedroom with the full beds has a shower rather than a bath tub and the upstairs master has a bath tub and no shower . This was not an issue for us, but it was a little unusual. The bath tubs were very nice! The beds were comfortable. I would love to see a king-sized bed replace the upstairs master, but we slept well in the queen. The rooms were large with unique furnishings and the storage/closet space was amazing. My kids loved playing on the sun porch which flanked the living/dinning room. It was a nice play space for them. The furnishings on the second floor outdoor space had some wear and tear and could use replacing; however, my husband really enjoyed the third floor balcony. The kitchen was well-equipped. Every time I looked for a kitchen gadget, appliance, etc., it was there. As a mother of young children, I appreciated the sand toys and beach chairs that were provided as I already felt like I had to pack the entire house. Also, from inside the home, the pool could only be accessed through the downstairs master, good from a safety-perspective. Finally, before we arrived, I was not a fan of the rental agency (monthly emails reminding me to complete a rental agreement which I did multiple times, unfriendly staff, etc.), but we had a minor issue when we arrived and it was handled quickly and professionally. This is a quality home, and like our family, I suspect you will want to return."

  • Picture Perfect

"Our family stayed at the Grits Carlton for 10 days, before, during and after our daughter's wedding in Santa Rosa. It was absolutely perfect for our family and the bridesmaids! We loved having the private pool, such a special treat, and the balconies and porches provided a beautiful place for pictures. The house is so comfortable, and we enjoyed recooperating and relaxing post wedding. We hated to leave and certainly hope to return someday!"
